  1. 10 Ducks we can't wait to watch at Oregon's Spring Game The Oregon Ducks’ annual spring game has finally arrived. On Saturday afternoon, Dan Lanning and the Ducks will once again take the field at Autzen Stadium with fans in the crowd and the sun shining down. While it is technically an inter-squad scrimmage, and the results from Saturday don’t mean anything in the long run, we will certainly be looking for a number of takeaways that can be had after watching the performances of certain players. After the long offseason and the weeks of spring practice that we’ve seen, there are a number of players who have our attention. Be it due to a new face on the roster, a position change, or simply a chance to prove they’re capable of being a productive piece going forward, there are a handful of guys that we will be watching closely on Saturday. Here are the players at the top of my list.   2. Former Oregon men’s basketball guard Tyrone Williams commits to transfer to Old Dominion Former Oregon guard Tyrone Williams is headed to the Sun Belt. Williams, who entered the transfer portal last month, committed to Old Dominion on Thursday. He averaged 2.5 points and 2.0 rebounds in 23 games off the bench for UO last season. The 6-foot-5, 200-pound guard was the No. 3 junior college prospect in the 247Sports Composite in the class of 2022 and the leading scorer in junior college basketball in 2020-21 and 2021-22. Williams has two years of eligibility remaining. The Sun Devils came into the weekend atop the Pac-12 standings at 13-4, with the Ducks lurking 2.5 games behind. Oregon (29-12, 12-7) moved within 1.5 games of ASU and remained two games behind Stanford, which now leads the conference after beating UCLA to open their series Friday. "We like our ball club," said UO coach Mark Wasikowski, who won his 200th career game as a head coach. "We've liked our ball club the whole time. Arizona State's played well for the whole season … and they're a good team. We showed up ready to play today, and tomorrow's a new day."   7. Oregon Ducks edge rusher DJ Johnson selected by Carolina Panthers in 3rd round of NFL draft DJ Johnson is headed to Carolina. The former Oregon edge rusher was selected by the Carolina Panthers with the No. 80 overall pick in the third round of the NFL draft Friday. Johnson is the second Oregon player chosen in this year’s draft, joining Christian Gonzalez. He’s the 20th UO linebacker drafted all-time, first since Troy Dye in 2020 and highest selected Ducks linebacker since Kiko Alonso went No. 46 in 2013.
