How would the conference know that they have been overpaid if they didn't have access to the distribution data from Comcast? Wouldn't it be reasonable for the conference to think that Comcast's payments were correct if that was the case? These business dealings seem very sloppy to me. I just can't fathom why it has taken Comcast so long to figure this out? However, our conference employees aren't without blame here too.
