  1. Oregon suffers yet again another embarrassing loss 10 minutes without a field goal. As many field goals were made as turnovers in the first half (six). Colorado doubled up Oregon on the boards (25-12). Poor free-throw shooting and easy baskets in the paint for Colorado on the other end. All that happened in just the first half of basketball between Oregon and Colorado, and the Ducks were the wrong end of that performance. The Ducks finished the terrible performance by getting blown out 68-41 to fall to 8-7 on the year and 2-2 in Pac-12 play. 2. The Pac-12 needs to take a look at these numbers when doing their new media deal. In 2021, Thursday Night Football was network, some streaming, and local stations. The 2022 numbers reflect streaming and some local stations. The drop off from 2021 to 2022 was 41%. That is huge and I think indicative of the market right now. I think the Pac-12 needs eyeballs on their games. A media deal concentrating on streaming may be bad for the health of the conference long term and that's the last thing we need. Oregon as a team needs to be seen for the brand and recruiting to be successful. What do you think?
  3. Oregon men’s basketball has worst shooting performance of Dana Altman era, humiliated at Colorado Whatever demons Oregon exorcised in its first ever win at Colorado last season are back. With a vengeance. Oregon (8-7, 2-2 Pac-12) shot 26.9% from the field and had just three assists, both worst of Dana Altman’s 13 seasons at UO. It went 1 for 14 from three, tying for the fewest of the Altman era (against Fresno State on Nov. 5, 2019). 4. There wasn't any. With this team, if Richardson isn't able to carry the team, no one steps up. It's going to be a long conference season if they don't turn it around and quick.
  5. Couldn't agree more. I can't remember them playing this bad in a long time! They're now behind 23 points at the beginning of 2nd half, 22-45.
  6. Ducks behind 10-25 at 8:35 in 1st. Ducks are 2 for 13 from floor!
  7. The Ducks can't seem to do anything right...hard to watch. Hope they wake up before falling too far behind. Colorado ahead 15-8 at 11:35.
  8. Oregon CB Christian Gonzalez lands in first round according to recent 2023 NFL Mock Draft Oregon CB Christian Gonzalez continues to make waves in NFL draft circles as he remains a projected first-round draft pick. In ESPN's most recent mock draft from Jordan Reid, Gonzalez falls to No. 21 to the Jacksonville Jaguars to help provide impact potential in the secondary for the fringe playoff team. "Tyson Campbell is a budding star at cornerback, but the Jaguars have struggled to find consistency on the other side," said Reid on Gonzalez's draft position. 9. Previewing upcoming All-American Bowl commitment for '24 DB Peyton Woodyard “I’m excited and I’m ready to do this,” Woodyard told us earlier in the week. “Originally I was going to announce on my birthday in June but this opportunity came up and to do it at the All-America Bowl and I jumped on it.” "Ohio State and Georgia are two playoff teams and I loved my visits there. Oregon has been recruiting me hard for a long time and I've been to USC more than anywhere else." 11. Dan Lanning inherited a roster of mostly Mario Cristobal's guys with a mixture of Willie Taggart and even Mark Helfrich recruits sprinkled when he took over in late 2021. One year later and Lanning is in the process of turning over the majority of the roster. The Ducks have already signed 28 prep recruits and have commitments from six transfer portal players to boot. The additions seem far from over, as the Ducks remain real players for a handful of top unsigned high school players and are also pushing for more transfer additions too. 12. Oregon men’s basketball heads to Colorado in need of resume-building win The Oregon Ducks enter their first full Pac-12 road weekend of the season with a chance to earn resume-building wins. The Ducks (8-6, 2-1 Pac-12) open the new year ranked No. 72 in NET, well beyond any bubble conversation for an NCAA Tournament at-large bid at this point. As Oregon needs a win tonight, Colorado — which is favored by 2.5 points — needs one to get back on track and keep one terrible loss from snowballing into numerous with Oregon State poised to visit Boulder after the Ducks.
