Williams is rated as the No.4 LB in the 2024 class, and the No. 54 overall player in the nation. Standing at 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, Williams has a long list of offers from some of the top schools in the nation. Social Media Buzz: Duck fans react to Austin Novosad, Dante Moore in All-American Bowl As a former Oregon commit, it was at the very least entertaining for Duck fans to watch Moore sling it. Current Oregon QB Austin Novosad also got a chance to show what he can do, but the Ducks’ signee struggled throughout the game, dealing with inconsistent offensive line play and receivers who dropped a couple of his passes that were on target. Fresno State safety Evan Williams on recruiting visit to Oregon Williams, who is the younger brother of former Oregon safety Bennett Williams, posted on his Instagram Story that he was in Eugene on Saturday afternoon. There is not yet a clear timeline for when he is expected to make a commitment or if he is planning on taking any other visits throughout the month, but this is a great early sign for the Ducks. Oregon currently has a need for depth and talent at the safety position, and Williams could be a massive addition to the roster. Ducks aiming for first desert road sweep since 2019 in ranked meeting with UA on Sunday Earning wins in the desert is rarely easy. Flying north back to Eugene with two has been a real rarity for the Ducks even during the highs of head coach Kelly Graves' coaching tenure. This year's 18th-ranked Oregon team will aim to become the third under Graves to sweep the Zona schools on the road when it squares off with the 15th-ranked Wildcats on Sunday evening. A victory would move the Ducks into sole possession of second place in the conference assuming No. 2 Stanford takes care of Cal on Sunday too. Sometimes there are articles of interest, but they really don't merit their own thread...Those articles will now go in here. In my searches, I often run across these type of articles and have just not done anything with them. With the football season coming to an end, there are fewer and fewer articles being written. I thought this would be the perfect time to start this "For Your Interest" thread. Postings will relate back to OBD in some way. As this will be a continuous thread, older postings will be deleted as newer ones are added. Be sure to come back often...You just might find something of interest to ponder...

Ducks Get A Dub In The Desert Oregon blew Friday's game open in the second half to beat Arizona State, 82-62. "First half, we were a little sluggish and our shot selection wasn't great, continuity wasn't good," UO coach Kelly Graves said. "And we sure as hell didn't shoot very well. But second half, it was more of the way we like to play." Oregon men’s basketball in desperate need of win at Utah to keep postseason hopes alive Oregon’s NCAA Tournament hopes are already on the brink, with tonight’s game at Utah as one of the few remaining chances for the Ducks to add a quality win and resuscitate their postseason chances. Ducks pounce on Sun Devils in third quarter and run to first Pac-12 road win Sloppy ball handling, poor defensive rotations and foul trouble kept the Ducks from pulling away from the Sun Devils in the first half. But, a 27-4 run that spanned both halves, and included a 19-4 start to the third quarter, sent the Ducks off and running to a 82-62 win over the Sun Devils. The victory is Oregon's first in Tempe since March of 2019. The Ducks had lost their last two outings in that arena. The win moves the Ducks to 12-3 this season and 3-1 in Pac-12 play.
