  1. Oregon offers Helaman Casuga; No. 5 QB in 2026 class

Oregon has extended another offer this week to a member of the 2026 class, and this time, it's to four-star QB Helaman Casuga, a top-100 player in the nation and top-five quarterback.

The Provo, Utah, native announced his offer via social media on Saturday...

  2. Oregon extends scholarship offer to elite OL in 2025 class

Oregon's recruiting team remains on the clock, as they've been extending scholarship offers around the country to 2025, 2026, and 2027 players.

One of the latest offers landed at Andrew Babalola's doorstep, one of the nation's best offensive tackles in the 2025 class...

  3. My five biggest takeaways from Oregon's 2023 football season

Apologies for the delay in posting my parting thoughts from Oregon's 2023 season.

Two days after the team's Fiesta Bowl victory I walked into a ladder hanging off the back of a work truck. It whacked me pretty good and I've been in concussion protocol ever since.

Sitting in a dark room listening to podcasts and audiobooks for 11 straight days wasn't ideal, but it did allow me ample time to think through this past season.

Finally, about 10 days later than initially anticipated, I've put together my biggest takeaways from the season.

This was a special year for Oregon football. It could've been even more special. But I think it's hard to argue that Oregon isn't the best-positioned team out west to win big right now, and that's among what I took away from 2023...

Oregon football wrapped up its season earlier this month. It's time to take a look back at what stood out from the team's 2023 season.

  4. Ducks ranked as third-best Big Ten team in PFF 2024 top-25

The Oregon Ducks are projected to be among the best teams in the nation at the start of the 2024 season, largely thanks to the litany of starters returning from last year, and the influx of top-rated talent coming from the transfer portal.

While they are almost unanimously being ranked as a top-10 team going into the offseason, where they rank in the top 10 is up for debate.

Last week, we saw that ESPN had the Ducks ranked as the No. 3 team in the nation in their way-too-early top 25.

Now we see that Pro Football Focus has Oregon ranked a little bit lower, down at No. 7...

  5. Former Duck QB Robby Ashford on the move once again

Robby Ashford, former Oregon quarterback and centerfielder for the baseball team, is on the move again.

According to Matt Zenitz of 247Sports, Ashford is going to South Carolina after spending the last two seasons at Auburn.

Ashford became the starter for the Tigers in 2022 and completed 50 percent of his passes, 1,613 yards and seven touchdowns. He did throw for seven interceptions, however.

In 2023, Ashford was relegated to a backup role behind Payton Thorne, which is most likely why he will transfer to the Gamecocks.

While at Oregon, Ashford performed well in the Spring Games, but never saw the field during the regular season in his two years in Eugene.

Ashford will have a legitimate chance at earning the starting job at South Carolina as the former signal caller, Spencer Rattler, has declared for the NFL draft...

  6. 10 greatest Oregon football players from the Mario Cristobal era

Mario Cristobal abandoned the Ducks. Just like Chip Kelly. Just like Willie Taggart. Cristobal left Eugene for what he saw as greener pastures.

However, Cristobal did help transform the Ducks into the powerhouse program they are today before he took his leave.

Leading the Ducks to a Rose Bowl victory over Wisconsin and an unexpected road win over the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cristobal did a lot for Oregon’s football team.

He also recruited a hell of a roster in his five years with the Ducks. Starting his time as head coach in 2017, Cristobal had players in his starting lineup that even continue to shine in the NFL today.

Before leaving Euegene in 2021, Cristobal coached up and forged some truly incredible players.

Here are the best 10 players who took the field during Oregon’s Mario Cristobal era...

  9. With major pieces returning, Dana Altman expects depth to be strength for Ducks

Things were looking pretty grim early on in the season for Dana Altman and the Oregon Ducks.

With two seasons of disappointment still weighing down a fanbase that wanted desperately to believe, injuries to star players thinned out the roster in familiar fashion.

All-Pac-12 center N’Faly Dante was undergoing surgery on his knee; Nate Bittle was sidelined with a potential season-ending wrist injury; 5-star freshman Jackson Shelstad saw his debut delayed because of an injury; freshman Mookie Cook continued to rehab from a preseason injury; and veteran guard Jesse Zarzuela was ruled out for the year with an ankle injury.

  10. Oregon football has never beaten these FBS teams

Out of the 72 FBS programs that the Ducks have faced, they have only been unable to beat 11 of them. That means they have at least one win over 61 different opponents… pretty remarkable if you ask me.

Not to mention, only one of the teams in Oregon’s new conference, the Big Ten, has an undefeated record against the Ducks. That would be Northwestern who beat Oregon in 1974, the only time the two teams have played.

Who else have the Ducks been able to defeat in FBS matchups?

Here’s a conference-by-conference breakdown of the teams that can hold an undefeated streak over Oregon’s head...
