Until reading Canzano's article, I didn't realize we have gone through 3 presidents since Frohnmayer left in 2009. I just hope we get the right guy and one who sticks around to give stability to changes academically and athletically. It just seems like we're a stepping stone to someone's "something better."

Lanning Setting Up Players for Success
Pennsylvania Duck replied to Gusduck71's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Taki Taimani talked about this topic and what Lanning wants in practice..."controlled agression." "You got to learn how to be poised," Taimani said. "We kind of learned our lesson today; we were a little aggressive today, so we ran a little. It's how we practice is how he wants us to play in the game. He doesn't want any of the smack talking, extra stuff; he wants us to have clean practices because how we practice will translate into the game." This is article quote is from. Beware Kicking the Dawg: DeBoer Bites Back
Pennsylvania Duck replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
DazedNconfused, I am learning so much from your articles. I have relatives who are Huskies and they are speaking so highly of DeBoer. They keep on telling me, "Just wait!" Hope we're able to keep one step ahead so I don't have to hear them rant. -
Ducks Football Players Form Eugene NIL Collective
Pennsylvania Duck replied to Pennsylvania Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
College football is dead certainly as we have known it. There is just too much change going on all at once with NIL, realignment, TV ratings control, etc. It is painful thinking the "good old days" won't be around anymore. -
Ducks Football Players Form Eugene NIL Collective
Pennsylvania Duck replied to Pennsylvania Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
That is my concern also. I feel like it is money going into a bottomless pit, not knowing where/who/what the money goes for. I have no problems with players earning some cash, but the video makes it look like they're "begging" for it. More info should be given on how this NIL is administered, etc. Buying from Uncle Phil is a good alternative! -
Great pic, Seven taking on Justin Flowe...That should improve his game.

This is a rather long article, but I think it is one of the most thorough that I've read on this topic. I note the new Eugene NIL Club is now active with a monthly goal of $50M per month. There seems no end in sight as businesses are being built around this concept. The Other Side of College Football’s Game Changer: The NIL Collective WWW.SI.COM The groups are well known for their recruiting influence and murky legality. But their impact extends to current athletes, too.
