I don't think we should play at OSU anymore. It's not P4 school. If they want to play is it should be at Autzen. If it must be so, then don't go there more than once a decade. Certainly not home and homes.

Yeah, none of these Husky tweets made any sense. Congress merely made a rule that universities themselves can't contribute more than $20.5M per year. It basically has nothing to do with NIL. The only slight difference is that schools can only allow NIL through legitimate sources.
So, for the UO that is the Division Street Collective, which is 100% legit. Phil Knight/Nike/Division Street- all good. The only other catch is that the offers to players have to have "fair market" value. Since we are only really offering 5 and 4 star players- none of that matters. "Fair Market Value" has already been pretty much defined by now.
In other words, Oregon doesn't have to do anything different when it comes to NIL...but...the athletic department can give $20.5M more to share between the different sports if it wants to.

I really do not like the uniforms pre-late 90s. Like none of them except for maybe some from the 1890s or early 1900s or something. I think the uniforms at the National Championship in Glendale vs. Auburn was our peak. I prefer more black, more neon, or maybe forest green. If a uniform ensemble doesn't work with a carbon fiber helmet then it needs to go away. Definitely no pink or blue uniforms, that's for sure.

Duke

Five star recruit who signed with Duke. I sure hope this kid has high expectations from himself. I mean, I expect him to rise up. He's only 20, so still young. I thought Kel'el Ware didn't really deserve many, if any (I kid, I kid) minutes, and look at him now.

The tv announcer made a good point that she might have been getting away with this all season. That seems extremely likely. Her "move" is probably to get that push off after lifting her foot. Season leader in steals. The cat's out if the bag. Whoops.
I was a fierce competitor in all sports back in the long ago times, and I would pull any and every trick to get away with fouls or cheats. One time I got decked behind the net in a hockey game after I dumped the puck in the corner, and I literally took the puck I saw laying in front of me and plopped it over the net into the goalie's back...and the puck went into the net for a goal. I recall a stunned defender looking at me and saying, incredulously, "you're not allowed to do that!" I got up on my skates and just said "I know, that's why I did it."

Even though I'm closer to 50 than 40, I still refuse to not sleep in on the weekends. Thankfully I have no children. You couldn't even pay me to watch a game on TV at 10am unless the US is playing in the World Cup somewhere overseas, so 7am? Ha! I'm sorry, but the UO and Nebraska should have protested this.
The final should have been moved to Monday- not many people will be working anyway. Of course, I am more than sure there were set contingencies in case of rainouts, and we simply got unlucky. That said, how many sports would you see a double header in a semi final, especially of one team had to wake up to play at 9am local time? That's insane. What a joke.

Yes, it's been very brutal. I wonder if we are trying to play the nice guy a bit too much and are allowing players to make decisions for the love of the game and our program. It's not enough- we need to pay a lot more if we keep losing out like this. Plus the defections? Just pay more. It's not my or your money.

I hate to say it, but I think we need to get another transfer surefire QB again. This article said the Ducks are in a fantastic position at QB, but Moore failed big time at UCLA. How is that uplifting? I wasn't even sold on Gabriel even up to his last snap. He's no Bo Nix, and certainly no Herbert. He was too short and too left handed.
I'm not even sure Quinn Ewers is someone I would want. Simply not good enough. He'll go the NFL most likely, though.

The absolute worst take is that "it doesn't matter, you still have to beat the good teams to win it all." Actually, no. It's way easier to win it all if you have an easier path. We should be playing a "cupcake" in the Quarterfinals, yet we will be playing teams we might be barely favored to win against.

If the logic was that the first week's uniforms were good, then this can only be seen as an improvement, in my opinion.
I am strongly opposed to throwback uniforms, or those that even somewhat mimic them. I prefer chrome helmets, and the in the incorporation of chrome or black as much as possible. Forest green works with both of those colors, and neon highlights are great as well. The neon socks in the Auburn National Championship game were fantastic.
It's more than possible that the UO brass tries to dumb things down for games that are not very big so that it doesn't lessen the snazzy ones for primetime.
FOX Corp Releases Scathing Statement Against Google Amid Carriage Dispute with YouTube TV

I fail to see how FOX's statement was remotely "scathing". Google and YouTube TV said FOX is asking for much more than other carriers and FOX basically said...nothing? "We consider Google's offer to be unreasonable" is not a good argument and not scathing. FOX is acting like retail/fast food union members do when they go on strike and cry they are not getting what they want. Well, you'll get paid what the market rate is and you'll like it, that's what I say. FOX should not be asking for above market rate.
