  1. Great play calling. Great execution. I’m thoroughly impressed! Nix, Irving, Franklin, and the o-line playing lights out on offense!
  2. I think we might have a really good game shaping up here!
  3. 41-31 Ducks 2 turnovers 2 sacks 326 yards passing My Dawgs aren’t playing tomorrow, but the Ducks are hosting the biggest game of the weekend. Still a great day for CFB in my book. I can’t wait to hear Autzen rocking!!! GO DUCKS!!!
  4. Well here is my opinion on the game, granted perhaps I’m not as schooled on UCLA as many of you guys are. In the beginning I would make sure we have in the box whatever it takes to stop their running game. While playing tight man coverage elsewhere. Bring five and six on possible passing downs and force Thompson to make the play downfield. Of course Thompson is a very good QB, he might rip you apart anyway. But IMO, don’t let the Bruins run game beat you. Get after DTR and let the chips fall where they may. Ducks offense can make the day hopefully.
  5. The Utah faithful did their job in the stands tonight. Place is rocking!
  6. What a game! Great day for college football!!!
  7. I guess, it has been a long time coming for the Vols. So kudos to them. It was a fun game to watch. But I must admit, hearing Rocky Top so often brings back painful memories for me.
  8. Someone mentioned it earlier, USC’s speed is a big problem for Utah.
  9. That roughing the passer was a bit ticky tacky.
  10. Never rooting for USC. Utes all the way. I think Utah has a good chance, but they can’t let Dye do what Charbonnet did to them on the ground.
  11. I agree with Charles, your logic is sound. I appreciate the points you’ve made. Great post! Riley does seem to have USC heading in the right direction, yet while they certainly have some ballers (especially on offense) I don’t think they are quite yet equipped to be dominate this season. UCLA I’m not sure about. Chip has that offense looking strong. My gut tells me they won’t keep it up all season. Their offense puts them in every game but it will not win them every game IMO. As for the Ducks, I think they have the most potential in the PAC. As you said they aren’t the same team that played GA. On O the line is making headway and the RBs are responding tremendously to that great o-line play. Bo hasn’t been too shabby either, he is showing his talent and playing with heart. I honestly think this team can be special if the defense keeps improving. They have started playing with a little swagger, and it’s fun to watch. Long way to go, but the potential is there. Got a bye week to get ready for the Bruins. One of you guys buy Chip a beer in a few weeks, he deserves it and my guess is, he will need it! GO DUCKS!!!
  12. To add to my earlier comment about the Ducks being experienced on the O-line. It’s not just about having playing time at your position, it’s about being able to work in tandem with the O-line as a unit. I’m not sure who adjusts protection or blocking assignments for the Ducks. Probably the center and QB in real time. But the experience they have with one another is paying dividends. Nothing can replace that cohesiveness. Playing on the O-line is much more than just moving one defender where you want him. Everyone understanding their assignment on a given play as it changes is sometimes what makes a huge difference. Not every team can do this consistently.
  13. I agree, the Ducks O-line shows up on game day and is bringing it! I’m pretty big on my Dawgs O-line but we did struggle a bit against Missouri. I think the Ducks experience is really showing on the O-line. Big Guys are getting it done! GO DUCKS!!! and GO DAWGS (GA Dawgs that is)
  14. Honestly, 3 weeks ago I wasn’t too worried about UCLA. But now they’ve beaten Washington and Utah by out scoring them. Their offense is for real, and to say Charbonnet is a good back is a massive understatement. That being said, I think if the Ducks offense plays to potential and the defense tackles well the Ducks win. I’m very glad the game is in Eugene though.
  15. Yeah, that would fit nicely down here.
  16. Actually I haven’t found a hat in my neck of the woods, so I’m going to order one. Any suggestions on the style?
