  1. My vote for the most clutch Oregon receiver would go to Keenan Howry. I don’t remember him ever dropping a pass and he always seemed to pick up that key 3rd and long. He is also responsible for one of my favorite Duck plays when he took the Beaver punt to the house to win the game for the Ducks. Not the biggest or most athletic receiver but an incredibly route runner with great hands.
  2. Maehl was a good receiver but I don’t recall him ever catching a one handed pass, in the back of the end zone, like E-Stew did today. Few receivers can and Coach Lanning said that E-Stew does it all the time in practice. E-Stew has a chance to be a high draft pick and have a long, successful career in the NFL. His upside is a lot higher than Maehl’s.
  3. As I said on the game thread, E-Stew is the best pass catcher that I have seen in an Oregon uniform. IMO, he has an opportunity to be a team's #1 wide receiver in the NFL given his athletic ability, pass catching ability and route running. He just has to keep working on his craft.
  4. Surprised that Oregon didn’t take a knee there.
  5. Nice to get the W on the road, against the defending champions. Hope none of the injuries are too serious. Remaining regular season games: Maryland @ Wisconsin Washington (after bye)
  6. Holden is having a great game. Will need him to continue step up with Tez out.
  7. Didn’t we just say last week, how deep our team is? If they are wearing down then the coaches need to pay more attention to snap counts. Oregon’s defense is missing tackles and losing receivers in space. Our front 4 has been inconsistent getting pressure. Very inconsistent performance today, against a mediocre, one-dimensional offense.
  8. Defense is making Michigan’s offense look good.
  9. After watching the Michigan game, I'll say no, this is not the best Oregon defense ever. They are good but not great.
  10. Big FG there. Puts Oregon up by 2 TDs heading into the 4th quarter.
  11. One of Oregon's linebackers is not having a good game and is missing open field tackles. Could be why we are seeing Jacobs. Need more speed.
  12. Not a good start to the second half. For whatever reason, the team has not been good in the 3rd quarter this season. Time to put an espresso machine in the locker room at halftime?
  13. The right tackle was more than 5 yards down the field on the backside. Shame because he wasn't even involved in the play.
  14. E-Stew is the best pass catcher I have ever seen at Oregon! Shame it came back. That is how you grab momentum back heading into half time!
  15. As the announcer said, beautifully called drive by Coach Stein and execution by DG.
  16. Oregon is letting Michigan hang around...
  17. On the last throw away, Michigan blitzed.
  18. Both have been seen on then field early against Michigan.
  19. Special teams turnover allows Michigan to hang around and tie the game, after our defense forced two 3 and outs.
  20. The B1G refs should just stop pretending and wear Ohio State jerseys (just need to add crimson).
  21. What terrible play calling by PSU near the goal line from the 3 yard line: 1st & goal: run up the middle for no gain 2nd & goal: run up the middle for 1 yard gain 3rd & goal: run up the middle for no gain 4th & goal: pass in the middle of the field, in traffic, incomplete
