That would be a huge move for the Ducks and that could very well be the case, but the “surprise” factor makes me think it’s not Oregon because that’s what everyone is guessing. That is what I was thinking as well. Let's face it, there is know way BIG would be thinking adding more schools during this contractual period. It would be a logistical nightmare scheduling more schools, besides the money isn't there to do so. If we think about it, would it even be profitable for a conference to go beyond 16 teams? Scheduling and the availability for a team to climb high enough in that conference to make the playoffs? I'm not sure if it is? Not to mention the number of time spots available.
