  1. This guy is Hilarious. What a joke. He's ticked off That Oregon's recruiting is this good. The problem is they have no answer to what Oregon is accomplishing way up in the Pacific Northwest. So they make stupid comments. They just can't wrap their brains around it. Oregon football's NIL backing has taken another shot from the SEC, this time from a Tennessee reporter unhappy about Dan Lanning and company being good at recruiting. Tennessee Reporter Says Oregon's Strategy is "Just Go Buy Us a Class"; Dan Lanning Pr WWW.SI.COM Have you heard that the Oregon Ducks have a very public benefactor in Phil Knight of Nike? Apparently, that's the only way...
  2. Four SEC and Four BIG teams in the top 10. ND and FSU are the other two teams in the top 10. USA Today Coaches Poll Released for Preseason We continue to inch our way towards the start of the college football season. Which means we have award list and polls for the preseason rolling out daily. One of the big ones came out Monday morning. The USA Today LBM coaches poll. And as you would expect, Oregon has once again cracked the top three. You can ultimately make a case for any of the top three to be shuffled around, but starting No. 3 for Dan Lanning is not a bad spot to be. USA Today Coaches Poll Released for Preseason - On3 WWW.ON3.COM The USA Today LBM coaches poll is out for the preseason and the Ducks find themselves in a great spot to start the season.
  3. Oregon landed a HUGE commitment from 5-star safety Trey McNutt to bolster its 2025 recruiting class back inside the top 10 nationally. Also Jonas Williams. From two BIG country schools. Now that we are in the BIG conference, recruiting will be even greater. From sea to shining sea!

  5. Dillion Gabriel interviewed by Yogi Roth. Great interview. Yogi Roth starts his introduction on Dillion Gabriel at around the 13:50 mark. Before that Yogi talks about the four new teams going into the BIG. Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel's road from Hawai'i to Eugene The 2024 Heisman candidate on his admiration of fellow Hawaiian Marcus Mariota and the decision to wear #8 for the Ducks. 6. Gary Bryant, Jr.'s versatility will benefit Ducks offense in 2024 Everyone knows that the Oregon Ducks wide receiver group should be one of the best in the nation with the likes of Tez Johnson, Evan Stewart, Traeshon Holden, and others. There’s not one superstar in the group, but rather the collective that makes them so formidable. One of those “others” is Gary Bryant, Jr. The former USC Trojan got his feet wet last year as a Duck with 30 catches and four touchdowns. But according to receivers coach Junior Adams, Bryant’s versatility will make him a nightmare for opposing defensive coordinators to game plan for. Gary Bryant, Jr.'s versatility will benefit Ducks offense in 2024 DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM Oregon receiver Gary Bryant, Jr. might be the unsung hero in a room full of talent.
  7. How Oregon Ducks Football Can Earn "That Team Out West" Moniker If Oregon football is serious about becoming "That Team Out West", there is some business they'll need to attend to in order to earn the respect, and hate, of the rest of the conference to the east. How Oregon Ducks Football Can Earn "That Team Out West" Moniker WWW.SI.COM The Oregon Ducks are officially members of the Big Ten Conference, and with that comes expectations as well as ridicule. This past week, the Ducks announced a n
  8. Justius Lowe's off-season has him ready to produce on the field Justius Lowe is a prime example of how high school football is vastly different from the college game, especially at the level the Oregon Ducks play at. The 6-foot-1 wide receiver could step out on the field at Lake Oswego and be the man right away, holding very little football experience. But on the next level, it’s not so easy. However, with hard work off the field, Lowe is ready to be the kind of receiver he was at Lake Oswego on the field. Justius Lowe's off-season has him ready to produce on the field DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM Justius Lowe has worked hard off the field so he can be productive on the field here in 2024.
  9. Can Dana Altman, Oregon Ducks Land Best Two-Way Player In 2025? The five-star Caleb Wilson, a top five prospect in the 2025 class, has cut his list to 12 schools. The 6-9 forward is ultra-versatile and has the makings of an elite wing at the next level. Can Dana Altman, Oregon Ducks Land Best Two-Way Player In 2025? WWW.SI.COM You won't find a better player on both ends of the floor in the 2025 recruiting class and Dana Altman of the Oregon Ducks has a chance of adding him to his futu
  10. Nation's No. 2 player in 2026 class puts Oregon among top schools 5-star EDGE Zion Elee puts Oregon Ducks among top schools DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM The Oregon Ducks landed among the top schools for 5-star EDGE Zion Elee, the No. 2 player in the 2026 class.
  11. Oregon has a loaded QB room with Dillon Gabriel, Dante Moore and Austin Novosad but in their 2024 class they garbbed a QB who I think is going under the radar.
  12. From Jon Joseph: Thank you, Charles, for the B1G help. Lots of quality B1G conference games on tap.
  13. From Charles Fischer: The B1GGEST game for each team? No offense to Puddles, but the folks at Duck's Wire (USA Today) have laid a whole lot of B1G eggs with this take. Identifying the important game on the schedule for every Big Ten team in 2024 DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM A look at the most important football games on the schedule for every Big Ten team in the 2024 college season. I question Duck's Wire's choice of the following games. ILLINOIS - 9/21 at Nebraska. How about, the re-dedication of Memorial Stadium 100 years after 'The Red Grange Game' when Michigan visits on 10/19/24? In the victory over the Wolverines on October 18, 1924, in the opening 12 minutes, Red ran for four of his five TDs. He returned the opening kickoff 95 yards for a TD and added TD runs of 67, 56, and 46 yards. He also threw a touchdown pass in the game to account for six TDs. Grange carried the ball 21 times and gained 402 yards. INDIANA - 9/28 vs. Maryland. How about, new head coach Curt Cignetti's first Old Oaken Bucket game vs. rival Purdue on 11/30/24? This will be the 127th Old Oaken Bucket game. MICHIGAN - 9/7 vs. Texas. How about, 11/30 in the Horseshoe vs. Ohio State? Duck's Wire, get a B1G Grip. There isn't a Michigan Man or Woman who would prefer a win over the Longhorns instead of defeating the hated Buckeyes for the fourth time in a row. Ohio State at Michigan in 2023 was CFB's most-watched regular season game with 19M+ viewers and will likely be the most-watched game in 2024. NEBRASKA - 10/19 at Indiana. How about, showing that the Huskers could be back and that true frosh QB Dylan Riola is the real deal with a home win against Prime and QB Shedeur Sanders when CU visits on 9/7? The final two games, 11/23 vs. Wisconsin and 11/29 at Iowa could be key to Nebraska being bowl-eligible for the first time since 2016. (2016!) The Two Os - Duck's Wire has Ohio State's visit to Oregon on 10/12 as the most important game for both teams. How about, The Big Game vs That Team Up North for Ohio State and head coach Ryan Day on 11/30 and Oregon and head coach Dan Lanning versus Washington on the same date as both teams and head coaches try to end a three-game losing streak versus its respective rival. The team that takes the loss in Autzen on 10/12 will have a chance at rematching in the B1G Conference Championship game. Penn State - 11/2 vs. Ohio State Sorry, Duck's Wire but PSU has announced that the Washington game on 11/9 will be the White Out game. Ohio State will likely kick off in the daylight, and be broadcast on Fox at Noon Eastern time. How about, a tough opener at West Virginia on 8/31 and conference away games at USC on 10/12 and at Wisconsin on 10/26? Ohio State will likely be a loss but PSU should be in good Playoff shape if it wins two of three vs. W VA, SC, and Wisconsin to finish 10-2. UCLA and USC - Duck's Wire picks UCLA at Minnesota on 10/12 and USC vs. LSU on 9/1. How about, 11/23 for new Bruins coach DeShaun Foster and his Bruins vs. SC? I get Duck's Wire being confused about the importance of B1G traditional rivalries but passing over The Crosstown rivalry game? How about, USC conference games at Michigan, Washington, and UCLA and vs. Penn State? The Trojans can lose to both LSU and Notre Dame and qualify for the B1G Conference Champ Game. WASHINGTON - 10/5 vs. Michigan How about, 11/30, Oregon in Eugene? THIS is UW's rivalry game and the game Husky fans most want to win. Ditto, Ducks fans. WISCONSIN - 9/14 vs. Alabama How about, conference games vs Penn State, Oregon, Minnesota, and on the road vs. Iowa, Nebraska, and USC? Like Texas at Michigan, Alabama visiting Camp Randall Stadium is a move-the-needle out-of-conference game but means nothing but pride when it comes to winning the B1G Conference. It's going to be B1G. First, Vandalize the Vandals!

  18. Dan Lanning and the Ducks have added another massive recruit to their haul in the 2025 cycle. 5-star Cleveland (Ohio) Shaker Heights safety Trey McNutt has committed to Oregon. On Saturday the 5-foot-11, 183-pound defensive back chose the Ducks from a final group that also included Texas A&M, Florida, USC and Ohio State. McNutt is an Ohio State legacy and his father Richard McNutt won a national title with the Buckeyes in 2022. The newest Duck is rated a 5-star recruit (96.52) according to the On3 Industry Rankings.
