    Most years, the regular-season finale between Ohio State and Michigan is in the mix. The annual rivalry dubbed The Game for its elite potential, the Buckeyes and Wolverines traditionally face off for the highest of stakes.

     

    This time around, the Big Ten is poised to produce another game of the year for college football, but the annual rivalry showdown could take a backseat to one matchup. That game will be Ohio State’s road trip to face Oregon on Oct. 12

    Oregon football coaches scheduled to attend 14 satellite camps

     

    Oregon’s satellite camp in June is jam packed.

     

    Dan Lanning and his coaching staff are set to visit 14 camps before hosting four days of camps later in June.

     

    Tentatively, the Ducks will send members of their football coaching staff to camps on the following days and locations. These are subject to change

    Interesting take from Bill Rabinowitz who covers Ohio State football.

     

    OHIO STATE OF MIND: Bill Rabinowitz covers Ohio State football for The Columbus Dispatch. He joined me on Tuesday for a conversation about the upcoming football season. We talked about the addition of offensive coordinator Chip Kelly and the four incoming Pac-12 teams. Rabinowitz told me he thinks the Buckeyes’ game at Autzen Stadium is the biggest test of Ohio State’s season. 

     

    “I happen to think it’s the most difficult game of the season for Ohio State,” he told me. “It’s on the road at Oregon. They’ve never played there. It’s still going to be early in the season. It’s a tough game. Michigan is the one game they absolutely can’t lose because you figure Michigan is going to be a little down this year… but in terms of difficulty, if you asked ‘What game is Ohio State most likely to lose?’ I’d say Oregon.”

    Oregon basketball agrees to Players Era Festival, will receive at least $1 million

     

    A massive new NIL-drive tournament is set to take place for the first time later this year in Las Vegas.

     

    The Players Era Festival, an eight-team tournament, will host Division I schools from across the country and award each participating team $1 million – along with an additional million dollars to the winner.
