Early Enrollee Spring Rewind
Early Enrollee Spring Rewind: My'Keil Gardner Here is a breakdown of what Oregon freshman My'Keil Gardner showed during his first spring football camp. Today, we continue this series with defensive lineman My'Keil Gardner. Recruit Stats: 3-star prospect / 492nd-rated overall prospect / 53rd-rated defensive lineman Height/Weight: 6-foot-2 / 275 pounds Outlook this fall: By the time fall arrives, the Ducks are expected to have 10 true freshman defensive linemen on campus. More than half those players were on campus for spring, and few received more praise than Gardner. Senior teammate Casey Rogers referred to the Arizona native as "one of the most advanced freshman" he'd seen technically, and praised his efforts to pick up the scheme. Some of that showed up in the spring game, when Gardner was credited with one tackle and a pass breakup. NCAA baseball tournament regional sites released: Beavers, Ducks to play on road WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM The NCAA on Sunday unveiled the 16 host sites for the regionals and the Beavers and Ducks, in a widely anticipated move, were not selected to host. The journey to Omaha will take place on the road for the Oregon State and Oregon baseball teams. The NCAA on Sunday unveiled the 16 host sites for the regionals of the NCAA baseball tournament and the Beavers and Ducks, in a widely anticipated move, were not selected to host in the postseason. The regionals will take place Friday through next Monday on campuses across the country. Oregon Making up Ground With 5-Star DL Aydin Breland The Ducks hosted the big-time defensive lineman for an unofficial visit last weekend. Oregon has been pursuing some big-time defensive linemen in the 2024 recruiting class. Names like Jordan Ross (Alabama), David Stone (Florida), Elijah Rushing (Arizona) and Collin Simmons (Texas) all come to mind. But the Ducks may not need to go too far for another stud. This past weekend they hosted 2024 Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei defensive lineman Aydin Breland for an unofficial visit. "I actually just went up with Brandon (Baker) and Jack (Ressler). I got invited with them," Breland said of why he took the trip. "It's always a great time up in Eugene. It's always a good time up there. I love getting up there and having a good time with everybody." This time around was different for the five-star defensive lineman. https://www.si.com/college/oregon/recruiting/oregon-making-up-ground-with-5-star-dl-aydin-breland

Where Marcus Mariota Ranks Among Best NCAA QBs Since 2000
Since the turn of the century, the game of college football has seemingly exploded onto the scene. That isn’t to say that it hasn’t always been entertaining and hand a legitimate place in the sporting world, but over the past 20 years or so, it has come to the forefront of the landscape and is covered as closely as any other sport in the nation. With the introduction of the college football playoff, the transfer portal, and NIL, that statement is more true now than ever. What’s great for Oregon fans is the fact that the Ducks have been at the center of that universe since the turn of the century as well. With a new era ushered in by Joey Harrington and Mike Bellotti in the late 1990s and early 2000s, the Ducks have been rapidly accelerating and quickly becoming one of the most popular teams in the nation. Oregon Football: Marcus Mariota ranked among top QBs this century DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM Marcus Mariota is the greatest QB in Oregon history. Where does he rank among the best QBs in college football?

A trip to the semifinals was on the line Thursday night, as No. 6 Oregon faced No. 1 Stanford in the final pool play game for the Pac-12 Tournament. It came down to some of the last batters of the game, but Oregon took down top-seeded Stanford, 8-6, in extra innings, as the Pac-12 After Dark effect found its way to the diamond on Thursday night. “Well, it says they want to keep the jerseys on and they know that if they win every game from here on out, they're called Pac-12 Champions and National Champions,” said head coach Mark Wasikowski after the game. “Can we put that together? That would require one heck of a run but I think the secret to success in the postseason is to play with your backs against the wall and play like it.” Two dramatic comeback wins against Cal and now Stanford!
