This is what was said about the Ducks’ RB1 by writer Thomas Goldkamp

The talented Oregon running back showed how explosive he can be last year, averaging 7.1 yards per carry. If he can replicate that again with Bucky Irving now gone and a likely increased workload, Oregon will be in great shape in the backfield. — On3.com

With Noah Whittington expected to be back from injury, Oregon should have a very capable 1-2 punch to go up against those Big Ten defenses.

What he fails to mentioned, he should be including Transfer RB Jay Harris in his assessment.

According to On3, Jordan James is primed to be one of the breakout stars of the 2024 college football season.

🤔 Nebraska AD Troy Dannen's vision of the future might just be too good to be true.

🤨 "In the budget of our athletic department right now, we have a $20 million placeholder in two years to share money with our athletes. It's in the budget right now. There's three schools in the country, I think, that have that in their budget right now: Georgia, Texas and us."

I'm not big on sponsorship logos on the 50 yard line, but if we were going to have one I would choose Nike.  Besides our connection with Phil Knight and Nike, at least their logo is clean and iconic.

2024 College Station Super Regional: How do Oregon Ducks stack up against Texas A&M Aggies?

The Texas A&M Aggies and the Oregon Baseball team are set to meet up in a Super Regional. How do these teams stack up against one another?

Texas A&M scores a ton more runs than the Ducks do, but if Oregon’s pitchers can perform the way that they did in Santa Barbara, then things might get interesting for the College Station Super Regional. Oregon has earned its spot here. Let’s see if the Ducks can snag a spot to Omaha for the Men’s College World Series.

Film Room Friday: Michigan's Mason Graham and Oregon's Josh Conerly Jr.

I am continuing to try some new things this summer. Each of the past three years, I have spent more and more time watching film. I am still a bit of a novice, but I have watched enough football to know what I am looking for a lot of the time.

As we head into the heart of summer scouting, I wanted to find a way to do some deeper dives on prospects I am watching each week, leading us to Film Room Fridays. Each week, I am going to break down a couple of prospects I have been watching and include some embedded highlights that I have cut together and shared on Twitter. The goal is to provide a visual element to the written analysis.

5-star Ohio State commit planning visit to Oregon Ducks this summer

When looking at the future, there are few players better than 5-star wide receiver Chris Henry Jr., the No. 1 ranked player in the class of 2026.  Henry is already committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes, but there is a long time before he signs on the dotted line, so anything can happen in his recruitment.

The Oregon Ducks are expected to get another visit from 5-star WR Chris Henry, the No. 1 overall player in the class of 2026.

Can Oregon FLIP 5-star Ohio State commit Na'eem Offord?

Na'eem Offord is one of the most highly sought after DB recruits in the class of 2025. Oregon is continuing to pursue him, but do they have a chance of doing so? Locked On recruiting insider Brian Smith joins the show to discuss that and other 2025 names for the Ducks.

I mean historically, who wants to go to Detroit in December? Hopefully we'll eventually escape from this mindset and take advantage of amazing venues that have controlled climates. I have to think part of the challenge is that most of these venues are NFL homes, which yes indeed, have NFL teams playing in them. I'm sure it's solvable with a little more planning.

Personally, they can balance it out more with couple of venues in the West.  Las  Vegas and Los Angeles areas to name a few.

Oregon Ducks tease 'Rooted in Substance' documentary film about Phil Knight, Nike relationship

I like when Phil Knight said "anytime you want to be successful, you have to have the courage to fail.  You have to be unafraid."

Phil Knight got into putting his efforts into helping when Oregon went to the Rose bowl and back to back Cotton bowls, Phil Knight ask "what do we need to do, what we need to take it to the next level."

Also in the video it was said "We can either be like Oregon, or no way in hell we are going to be like that Oregon team."

    Great stuff.
