  18. I decided to move all the Redshirt Freshmen in Review articles here in it's own Post. The majority of Oregon's 2023 recruiting class used redshirted last season. That includes offensive tackle Gernorris Wilson. Here's where we think things stand with him after one year at Oregon. Dan Lanning's second recruiting class factored in to the team's on-field success in 2023. But while nearly a dozen players carved out roles, the majority of the 29-player 2023 signing class did not. Of the 28 freshmen who enrolled last year, 11 appeared in enough games to avoid redshirt, led by tight end Kenyon Sadiq, offensive lineman Iapani Laloulu, and outside linebacker Blake Purchase who saw action in all 14 games. Oregon fans have become somewhat familiar with those 11 players (two have already transferred), but the 15 redshirts who remain on the roster? Not so much. In this series, we'll do our best to bring you up to speed with them.

Several news outlets are reporting that a new six-year television deal has been concluded for the College Football Playoff,” Steinbrecher wrote in an email dated Feb. 13. “Be advised, these reports are incorrect. Neither the Management Committee (commissioners) nor the Board of Managers (presidents) have reviewed a draft agreement nor has any vote been taken.” Report: MAC commissioner disputes reports of College Football Playoff-ESPN agreement on new TV deal WWW.ON3.COM .
