  7. Full Odds, Final Prediction For Oregon’s Bo Nix And 2023 Heisman Trophy Finalists Final Prediction Do we have four capable Heisman winners here? You bet. Of course, we do. But, like every season, there can only be one. This year, the 2023 Heisman Trophy goes to… WINNER: Jayden Daniels, QB — LSU No. 2: Bo Nix, QB — Oregon No. 3: Michael Penix Jr., QB — Washington No. 4: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR — Ohio State This is the only outcome we can expect at this point. You saw the odds above. No one is coming through with the upset over Daniela. For Nix, it’s impossible to know what the parallel universe looks like. The universe where Oregon wins the Pac-12, and both he and the Ducks storm toward a national championship. Odds are, Nix is your 2023 Heisman favorite in that universe. But alas, here we are. Penix’s inconsistencies against his overall body of work are worth a bronze medal—not runner-up status. So we have Daniels No. 1, Nix second, Penix third, and Harrison finishing fourth. The final, official tally will be fascinating. It will reveal a lot about how the committee leans: toward individual and season-long success or winning at the right time to contend for a national championship. Either way, this will likely be another way Bo Nix came up short. But that’s not to take away from his season, and, of course, it’s not to take away from his time at Oregon. “Bodacious” Bo should, and will, go down as one of the greatest Ducks of all time. The quarterback just came up a win short, as so many Oregon greats before him have. Full Odds, Final Prediction For Oregon's Bo Nix And 2023 Heisman Trophy Finalists OREGONSPORTSNEWS.COM The committee has spoken. Actually, technically, the committee won’t speak until the 2023 Heisman Trophy is announced Saturday night. But the votes are in! While we don’t know who will walk...

Oregon: "Oregon’s culture speaks volumes and I have been fortunate enough to get on campus a few times to see why they have been so successful these past two seasons under coach (Dan) Lanning. Seeing what he is doing there and seeing how the staff he has brought on does nothing but support him shows a promising future for the ducks. 19. Unbeaten Liberty and Flames coach Jamey Chadwell hoped to face an Oregon team without Bo Nix in the Fiesta Bowl, but the Heisman finalist will play one more game with the Ducks. The decorated fifth-year senior will add to his school record-setting offensive totals in the Fiesta Bowl. "We know how good they are," Chadwell said this week. "Disappointed Bo Nix is going to play, I was hoping he was going to hold out and wasn’t going to play any against us. I have a relationship with Bo’s father going back from a FCA football camp, we actually coached at the same place together. Bo is a tremendous player, we are looking forward to going against what could be a Heisman winner.” Liberty earned the Group of Five's auto-berth in the New Year's Six after upending New Mexico State over the weekend, just before SMU toppled Tulane in the AAC title game. That was enough to push the Flames ahead of SMU and Tulane in the selection committee's final top 25. And now, Chadwell gets a chance to show his team off to the rest of the country on the grandest of stages. Here's what Chadwell said about playing Oregon, his team and the opportunity ahead: Liberty's Jamey Chadwell hoped Oregon's Bo Nix would skip Fiesta Bowl T.CO The Group of Five champions are heavy underdogs against the Pac-12's runner-up.
  20. We are in the part of the season where rosters are in flux as players either choose to jump into the transfer portal or make decisions about whether or not they want to return for one more year of school instead of testing the NFL Draft waters. That is certainly the case for the Oregon Ducks, where a number of highly impactful starters have some important decision to make. Some guys, like Bo Nix, Evan Williams, Popo Aumavae, and several other have run out of college eligibility, but others can choose whether or not they want to join Dan Lanning in the Big Ten or head to the next level. Over the next month and a half, we will get a lot more clarity on this front. The deadline for underclassmen to declare for the draft is on January 15, 2024, so we will know more about players like Brandon Dorlus, Troy Franklin, and Khyree Jackson before then. Until then, we can make some predictions and guesses as to what the future might hold for those players. Predicting which Oregon Ducks will declare for 2024 NFL Draft DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM A look at which members of the Oregon Ducks might declare for the 2024 NFL Draft or choose to return to Eugene for another season.
