Ducks Beat No. 9 Alabama 83-81!
Barthelemey with the big time teardrop! Up by 4 now. Keeshawn is probably our best bench player in a long while, seems to always come up huge, could have used him last year in the tournament!

Ducks Beat No. 9 Alabama 83-81!
58 seconds, Ducks have the ball up by 2, surprised we got the call on that goaltend.

Ducks Beat No. 9 Alabama 83-81!
Had them where we wanted them, then we just stop playing defense and letting them shoot open threes, got to lock down on defense better.

See below... ------------------------------------------- Ducks up by 4 in the 2nd half, 16 minutes to go. Huge game for basketball to really make a statement.

Does Ohio State Have to Fire Day Today?
I don't think you do, you still have the playoffs, if they end up out of the playoffs then you might pull the trigger, but I think you have to wait to see if they're in it. I don't think the players would respond well if you fired him right now. If he end up in the championship game, or wins the whole thing then he's redeemed himself, if he doesn't then you can show him the door immediately and get the search going in earnest.

Stunning! Michigan Beats Ohio State 13-10, Oregon to Face Penn State in B1G Championship!
Mullings is so so wrong, Ohio St. was in the right fighting them when they tried to plant a flag. It's one of the only times where I would support such actions, you can't let that happen. Michigan is such a classless program if that's what they think is okay, they cheated last year, and now this.

WSJ on Dillon Brooks "NBA's Most Hated Man"
Don't really consider Bol a Duck, he was around for 4 games then got injured and basically quit on the team saying he wouldn't even try to come back during the season

He was a decent QB at South Eugene

Ducks Climb to 7-0, Beat San Diego State 78-68
Angel maybe has a shot as a NBA bench guy, he does have an elite talent as a shooter, that will give him a shot, he just isn't much of an athlete, and his rebounding is very poor for a guy as tall as he is, really like him as a stretch 4 for us. Shelstad does have a chance, he is about as big as Pritchard is, maybe an inch shorter. I think he's more advanced than Peyton was, he certainly has more confidence than Pritchard had during his sophomore year. Bamba might be a guy who is a 2nd rounder who fights his way into a bench spot. I'm most interested to see who we go to when we absolutely need a bucket late in the game. If I had to guess Bamba probably is the guy who can create his shot the best. I feel pretty comfortable with both our guards handling the ball late in the game. Saturday will be a great opportunity to see where we are as a team, if we play Bama we'll be playing a top 10 team, if we play Rutgers we'll be facing two guys who are top 5 draft picks.

Ducks Climb to 7-0, Beat San Diego State 78-68
Just have to stay healthy, it's pretty evident that if Dana can keep a squad healthy he'll have a squad that will challenge for championships. This squad is so so deep with guys that can contribute, it's such a balanced squad. Bittle, Bamba, Shelstad, Cook, Tracey, Angel, and Evans are all capable of scoring 15+. Good defenders at each position, athleticism, BBIQ, experienced. I haven't even mentioned Mookie Cook or Moss. Mookie is a former 5 star talent and Moss is a former all-MAC contributor who scored 15+ last season. Truly believe we can win the B1G and be a 1-4 seed in March. We beat whoever we play on Saturday and we should be around the 20-17 mark in the rankings. The one thing I think we lack is a player who would be considered a first round talent. I don't know if we have that sort of player, we have a lot of guys who are going to make a living in Europe, but I don't know if we have many who are going to be contributors on a NBA roster. If I had to guess Bittle might be that guy. Shelstad has a shot but he'll probably need the next two years to transform fully into Pritchard.

Playoff Predictions: Nobody Notes B1G Getting Hosed...
While it would have been nice if this was foreseen when the conferences were putting this thing together, I don't think there is any conspiracy or bias against Oregon/B1G, I would hope the format is changed next year with the reseeding idea put forward by Klatt, that seems like the best solution.

Oregon Mens Basketball 6-0, Beating No. 20 Texas A&M 80-70!
Great win, we aren't even playing that well, gave up a ton of offensive boards, everyone on the team other than Barthelemy is shooting under their usual percentages, this team can get a lot better if they begin shooting like they are capable of. Dana is right about the offense, if we take it to the rim we will become a very efficient attack. I really believe they have the potential to be Dana's best team in a while.

No.23 Oregon WBB Takes on Georgia Tech
Sucks nobody is going to watch since nobody is going to pay for whatever BallerTV is. I hate when you have these obscure sites getting college games and then asking you to pay $20 to watch the one game you'll ever watch on the site.

Trouble in Paradise re BIG TV Deal
It's pretty ridiculous that Ohio St. and Michigan have those veto powers, I would hope with the new deal whenever it is, that the conference just tells them all to suck it up and get in line, I mean what are those two going to do???? Leave! There's nowhere to go to. It helps brands to be on at different times..

Oregon Comes Back from Down 12 to Beat Oregon State 78-75
Yeah, I have a feeling it's going to be very pretty rough experience at times. B1G has a rep for having officials that let a lot go. I know we sort of thought we would have the same experience in football, but I have a feeling it might turn out to be more true in basketball, don't have any proof, just my feeling on the matter. I think the Beavs will be decent, WCC is a very good mid major conference, could see them just below Gonzaga and St. Mary's. I actually think they might have fun in that conference. Oregon has the tools to be good, they shot better than what it felt like, a lot of that came from the shooting late in the game from Shelstad. Need Bamba to get going with his shot, this team really does have the potential to be a good offensive team, they have a lot of weapons. I think we can play in multiple ways as well. Bittle looks like he can be that post presence. Shelstad can be a very good PG, Bamba has a history of being a good shooter, Angel is a nice stretch 4. We can play inside and out, Barthelemey can be a microwave off the bench, it's still an exciting team I think.

Yeah, who would have thought, it's not like this isn't how sports worked for like......ever.

Oregon Comes Back from Down 12 to Beat Oregon State 78-75
Game ball goes to Bittle, Shelstad had a good game, but Bittle just took over and carried the team on his back when they needed him the most, Dante like performance by him. If he can play like that, Oregon will have a shot to do damage.

Oregon Comes Back from Down 12 to Beat Oregon State 78-75
He made another shot in the game 30! That's quite a take by him, he certainly has the alpha dog mentality to take that sort of shot.

Oregon Comes Back from Down 12 to Beat Oregon State 78-75
The team is just different when Shelsted is shooting well, he is so important as a scoring point guard.

Oregon Comes Back from Down 12 to Beat Oregon State 78-75
Bittle basically carrying the team on his back, great effort by him.
-
Oregon Comes Back from Down 12 to Beat Oregon State 78-75
Some day we'll be a good shooting team, some day, I don't know when but we'll have to luck into a team that actually shoots well again at some point. It has to happen at some point.
-
Oregon Comes Back from Down 12 to Beat Oregon State 78-75
Yeah, I'm hopeful it will happen, really disappointing to see this effort, Shelsted has to begin playing better, he's been pretty bad the entire year.

Oregon Comes Back from Down 12 to Beat Oregon State 78-75
Horrible, absolutely horrible half, slow, weak, completely getting embarrassed out there, that is truly pathetic effort against a mediocre opponent, means more to one team.

Oregon Comes Back from Down 12 to Beat Oregon State 78-75
Pretty unacceptable half so far, one team looks like they want it, the other just wants to jack up threes, get it together! Awful defense, weak weak weak

WBB: Coverage of Women's Basketball Program
One thing to be excited about is that the best player Deja Kelly didn't even have a good shooting night, she's been a bit cold recently, she's doing a great job though providing and getting rebounds. Seems like a team that cares, a lot of players from recent years don't seem to have that dog in them, they would crumple up under any sort of pressure. I'll admit I really did not like a lot of the players from recent years, luckily all of them are gone now.
