Would LOVE to see LMJ on the coaching staff! Who do YOU go to when you want to learn something? Someone who knows how to do it! Would you turn down a lesson from Tiger Woods because he has “no coaching experience”? I don’t think so! Give him a shot DanLan! Wouldn’t a recruit be impressed by having a Doak Walker Award winner in his presence? C’mon!!! Let’s DO it!

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. Altman’s plan seems to be to rely on Richardson as leader. Not working. Maybe he should move focus to Williams as leader? Richardson doesn’t seem to want, or be able to handle, the pressure and responsibility. (Young seems to crave it)

I doubt that that was the option Dana drew up. Whatever…..Richardson choked…..he’d made 4 prior 3’s, but this last shot was waaaaay too tentative. It seems to me that he is not comfortable with the responsibility of “leader”. He tried……he played better tonight than last game, but……so far, he has proven that he is NOT the guy to rely on. Guerrier, Young, Williams, Dante, Franck, Harmo……..ALL show that they’re willing to take on that mantle, if asked to.

Sorry…….implied in this hire by the UO, is that you are committed to building the program at UO to sustainable mega-heights. Committed. Not head-turned by the first “pretty girl” who pays you some attention……and the attention only comes because of the opportunity that UO gave you. You used us, Mario! That’s where the anger comes from! If you really believe all that smoke you blew to your recruits and team…..especially when UO will pay you a fortune…..then you stay….and finish the job you said you’d do!

I wonder how it weighs on Mario…..if at all……to bail on all these kids he made promises to, and enticed to join him at UO to form a team? I know “it’s a business”, and it’s his career, but………if a kid carries out his part of the bargain, and places his success and development in my hands……and I’m making multi-millions…..I wouldn’t bail on him.

The sky is not falling, and all is not lost. UO has been stuck in cement ever since Mario took over. Can’t move forward, can’t move back. Time to move on. I, for one, would be glad to see a capable coach take over. Mario’s a 5 star recruiter, but a one star coach. How many times have we….and, even he…have said he was out-coached? Answer: too many. So, maybe we take a step back for awhile. Maybe not. But, hopefully, it’s all to return to the upper echelons with a competent coach! Go Ducks!!!

The whole idea is NOT to be a “wait ‘til next year!” Team. It’s the “same old, same old”, and………I, for one……am disheartedly deeply disappointed in Cristobal’s continuing failure to get us past and over this hump. I give him credit for effort, but, so far?…….. I don’t see the ability. Not even a hint of it. What’s the definition of insanity(and frustration)? Doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result. USC faced that situation with Helton. So…..they stopped doing the “same thing over and over again”. Sorry to say it, but Methinks it’s time for us to do the same.

You can only hide inferior coaching for so long. Thanks for trying your best, Mario. At least you gave it the effort. But…..the ability, it’s plain to see…..is not there. Hopefully, you can gain it, at sometime: either here, at Miami, or somewhere else, before you’re through. Good Luck…….

My God! What abysmal coaching! Once again, team not ready to play. And….no discipline! Penalty after Penalty! Team stops itself! I know Mario’s mother is ill, but…..this is nothing new. And, passing? What do they do in practice? Throw it 10 yards over the receivers head, and…..say that’s fine? They never work to correct it?

Oneducker: I think: U wrong, buddy. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more SC fans in SoCal than Charger fans. Not more than Rams, but maybe Chargers. Anyways, Duck fans may disagree.

Bring the ex-head Coach back as OC? I don’t think so!
