Tandaian No. 1 Share Posted July 7, 2023 USC has gotten a wake-up call in facilities development TROJANSWIRE.USATODAY.COM Oregon’s facilities are state of the art. #USC is finally making a concerted effort to update its infrastructure. This is a hilarious winding article. Starts out with USC being behind Oregon in facilities, but then finishes with Oregon's 3rd uniform isn't going to matter because of no TV coverage. Jon Joseph Moderator No. 2 Share Posted July 7, 2023 The college football arms race continues. More fodder for CFB players to be found to be employees. If you build it they will come but they will no longer accept a free education in return.
John Charles No. 3 Share Posted July 7, 2023 There's also a high probability that getting their butts kicked on a miserably cold day at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa could have a far more negative impact on recruiting than their dated uniforms. 2 1
Haywarduck No. 4 Share Posted July 7, 2023 Sounds like Miami's commitment to football. Lots of talk, some pretty pictures, but little action. The construction phase in Compton will be very disruptive, and I suppose that is why there is just ink at this point. Same with Miami, little can be done on that small campus. I do wonder if the John McKay Football Center will now be next to the Robinson Facility. Will they name both facilities after Oregon Alumni? They do seem to have an obsession about Oregon! Their success, most often, comes from following Oregon. Oregon, on the other hand, has talked about a new practice facility, has some amazing pictures, and are working on getting it done asap. Just Ducky No. 5 Share Posted July 8, 2023 IMO usuck will be having 4 and 9 seasons and a new coach way before any upgrades will be completed. If Williams gets hurt it might be this year.

The last time SC played Iowa in a bowl game, SC was smash mouthed and its starting QB left the game early on with an injury. Iowa ran roughshod over the Trojans. In 2024, SC opens vs LSU in Las Vegas. Trips to the Eastern time zone to play Penn State, Maryland, and Purdue and to Chicago to play Northwestern. Trips across town to play UCLA. SC plays Notre Dame, Illinois, IOWA, Michigan, and Wisconsin in LA. And Caleb Williams will be playing in the NFL. GULP!
Washington Waddler Moderator No. 7 Share Posted July 8, 2023 Whatever USC does now and in the future to improve their football fortunes, they can never escape from the fact that they started it all as quitters who ran away from competition they couldn’t overcome.
