Brett McMurphy Reveals his AP Top 25 Poll Ballot Ahead of Monday Release

Recommended Posts

Interesting as to where he places USC in his top 25 (Priceless):

The 2023 college football season is fast approaching and with it the never-ending debate about which teams are the best in the country. The infamous Top 25 poll.

Stadium’s Brett McMurphy took a stab at the Top 25 poll, sharing the Associated Press ballot he submitted ahead of Monday’s unveiling of the poll.

It features many of the teams you’d expect to compete for a national championship this fall near the top, but it also has one or two surprises in the mix. Meanwhile, a handful of teams with new coaches appear at the bottom of the Top 25 poll.

Fun stuff to read and ponder, thanks NJDuck for posting.

 3 observations:

First, 8 teams in next years BIG are in the TOP 25.

Srcond, 5 teams in next years BIG are on the TOP 10. The TOP10 is a great place to begin on your drive to the CFP.

Third, the BIG Conference is ruled by MIchigan, tOSU and PSU. This fan will be patient as it takes rime to change that perception.

OBD's and the other 3 West Coast teams will have to prove it on the field.

The best part is we will get our chance. Anyone of those 3 powerhouse football programs will have to go thru the west coast schools, too.

The BIG schedule creates multiple potential CFP play in games.

There will be no excuses if OBD's dont make it to the CFP. They will have their chances on the field.

This is very exciting......

I LOVE seeing the Beavs ahead of SUC!

But UW at 7?!!! Pahleeze.

Texas Tech at 11 makes that game more exciting.

And alas, my beloved Tulane gets no love behind SUC and UCLA.

Starting 2024…the SEC will NOT be the best conference by default.  Truly, we are joining a power conference; the chance to prove it on the field.

And a real chance to prove it in a very tough PAC-12 this year…
