Ducks also fly over Ole Miss, which has an average commit ranking of 4.96. Who is the Portal King? Based on talent, give Danno the crown and it's not that close. 1 1 1 2

The only thing bothersome regarding the ticket to The Dance is it means more money for the Pac-2 leeches.
HDuck No. 12 Share Posted March 17 More money for the leeches... UA, WSU, and winner of Oregon/Colorado were going to be in. It will mean more money if Colorado also is in for a total of 4 instead of 3. Though, less than a week ago the popular theory was that the Pac would only get 2 because either UA or WSU would win the Pac tournament. Thus, we circle back to your contention Jon, "what the hell are we doing scheduling OSU next year?" I probably concur. The 10 Pac escapees should let a few years pass and things like this money bag from the NCAA tournament run out before even thinking about scheduling.

The Grateful Duck No. 15 Share Posted March 18 I get the lil' brother hate and that, as this charade draws to an end, it seems that the lil' brothers are fleecing those of us that have left BUT... Ultimately, they both are being relegated to the netherlands of the cfb money-world, where the haves will (most likely) pummel the have-nots, to which they belong. At this point, I couldn't care less about OSU. Though I'll be rooting for the Lady Beavs....

Oregon a better prep class in 2024 than everyone on rivals except Ohio State. But on 247 Oregon is ahead of Ohio State. This is super impressive and Oregon is the highest ranked team on 247 in BOTH of these rankings. Lanning is investing in the future with high schoolers but filling areas of need now with the portal. No one is doing BOTH better. 2

I don't see the Pac as a name going away. But I could see a Pacific Coast Conference emerge some day if the West Coast powers want to play on the West Coast again. I don't see them wanting to rejoin the Pac-12 if it is full of mountain west teams so they'll just remake their own conference if it comes down to it. And I'm pretty sure the Beavers and Cougs wouldn't be invited.
