Ranking the most iconic Big Ten football stadiums from worst to first

 

The Oregon Ducks football team will be playing in a new conference in 2024 and with that, they’ll have to prepare to play in some stadiums they have never set foot in before. Yes, it’s called The Big Ten, but there will be 18 stadiums in the conference when the four former Pac-12 school join.

 

While the Big Ten will rival the SEC as the most dominant conference in the nation, there should be little argument that they are home to the most iconic and historic college football stadiums in all of the land. 

 

We decided to rank the 18 facilities based on several factors, not just size. We have factored in history, who played there, traditions and other aspects. Of course Autzen Stadium is No. 1 in our hearts, but we tried to be as objective as possible here and not put the Home of the Ducks at the top of the list and Husky Stadium at the bottom. Washington’s home favors quite well in comparison to other Big Ten stadiums, but there’s no way it’s above where it never rains.

Michigan football is one of the oldest programs in the country dating back to 1879. The Wolverines have played a lot of teams, the team they have played the mos

 

It's close to a total rebuild for Michigan, players and coaches both. The guy projected to start at QB ran the ball on occasion from the QB spot last season but he did not attempt a pass.

I find it bizarre Michigan is the standard for anyone let alone 3 teams.

 

It's irrational to define success against the option that has changed the most. Michigan needs to be completely redefined based on how they do in every game this season.

4 Defensive starters were responsible for 70% of our production?! Imagine if the new 7 could actually pull their weight how good would we be? I think it speaks to how innefective out DL was at generating sacks and tackles. Maybe it's our scheme to have them hog bodies and clog lanes rather than go after the ball.

There have been rumblings about him....speed concerns, and other concerns on other sites. 

 

Once in a while a player may have a better chance at playing for the Hated Huskies, or the Bastard Beavers and with Dan Lanning's incredible recruiting nationally--that will get even better being in the B1G...I say this is a reasonable negative that can occur.  

 

Or I trust Lanning with his analysis, that perhaps the player is not what others think.

 

Or I realize that this is a sophomore in High School, and a lot can happen over the nearly two years before signing day...if the player is really good.

From what I've listen and read, "Oregon's 2025 recruiting efforts are about to heat up the next couple of months.  They're expected to land 4-star WR Cooper Perry from Scottsdale, Arizona. The momentum should continue from there."  Especially after obtaining Coach Ra'Shaad Samples who is a strong recruiter, especially in Texas.
