I listened to the interview at the B1G media days and the reporter was really leading Dillon Gabriel. Not sure how serious he considered Ohio State.

Ohio State has had a lot of good quarterbacks under Day, last season was more of the exception not the rule.

Day has had some pass happy offenses that put up big numbers. Kinda the Lincoln Riley of the B1G... That is before Lincoln Riley entered the B1G.

If you're a quarterback who is looking to get a bump to your draft stock ... Ohio State is certainly a good destination.

Now... I think Oregon just proved how good of a destinitbey are under Lanning as they turned Nix from a probable late round draft pick at best to a first rounder.

But if Ohio State landed Gabriel I could see why he'd go there.

Glad he's on our team though. He may prove to be the x factor that gets us a win over Ohio State this season.

As far as I am concerned, ODB are 1-1 against tOSU. They beat us for all the marbles, but we beat them in their home.

They also beat us without our 2 best receivers and one of our best DBs (amongst other shenanigans).

We beat them fresh from the off-season.

This might be famous last words, but I think DL is gonna wipe the floor all Day.

As I mentioned, the reporter (probably an Ohio State beat reporter) was asking Dillon Gabriel leading questions during the interview. I don't think his interest in Ohio State was as much as the articles are making it out to be.

Given the Marcus Mariota/Hawaii tie and seeing what Bo Nix was able to do as a transfer QB on Oregon's system, I wouldn't doubt that Oregon was his preferred destination. Dillon Gabriel seems to be extremely happy to be a Duck!
