October 2, 2024Oct 2 I personally won't throw too many stones... the Ducks looked bad early on and are putting it together now. Winning is all that matters and teams are allowed to have bad weeks if they keep that loss column at zero.

Washington fit your description last year, kept winning close games, while Oregon was smashing their opponents, Ducks were favored over the Huskies and lost. But I don't see the Hurricanes being that Washington team. Going undefeated, without playing anybody, especially with a bail out like Miami got last week, does merit questions.
October 2, 2024Oct 2 Moderator It's Time For CFB Replay to prove itself; it cannot do so. 7 plus minutes to overturn any play is egregious. No evidence provided INCONTROVERTIBLE evidence within 7 minutes? What in the heck showed up after 6 minutes and 59 or so, seconds to erase Virginia Tech's 'win' over The U? GO BEARS!
October 2, 2024Oct 2 College Game Day is in Berkeley! Can you believe it? They will be lucky to get a crowd of two old stoned hippies and a golden retriever with a frisbee in its mouth. Go Bears!
October 2, 2024Oct 2 Coach Mari No, let's take a timeout before first play of the game and run the ball when you have 30 seconds left in the game and a 3-point lead so your guy can fumble! 😎

This is the problem. First, if the call on the field had been incomplete there wouldn't have been a review. But on the field, it was called a catch. So, there was a review? A 7 minute review to find INCONTROVERTIBLE evidence that overturned the call on the field and gave Miami the win?
October 3, 2024Oct 3 "Even a broken clock is right twice a day." Mari Cristbal is an incredible recruiter, especially in the trenches. History has shown that great-recruiting-bad-coaching head coaches can occasionally win it all . . . See Ed Orgeron, LSU, and Joe Burrow. Don't ever want this to happen for Mari Cristbal, but theoretically, it could. Re: the VT v. Miami review, let's propose a rule: "If within 60 seconds of seeing all available footage nothing is conclusive, then the call stands." Isn't taking 7 FREAKING MINUTES evidence that there's no CONCLUSIVE evidence!!!???

I would be more afraid of USC if Orgeron were their coach instead of Riley.
