I'm a sport that is determined to say they care about player safety missing any call around facemasking or targeting (whatever the NFL equiois) is bad. The refs are lucky this wasn't played in Minnesota or that replay would've been on every screen in the stadium a thousand times over. NFL and College should allow reviews of all penalties after the 2 minute warning/timeout. The amount of parity, especially in college now, means games will come down to the wire far more often than ever before. Refs can't and won't be able to catch everything, but when it's this egregious and still missed, there needs to be an opportunity for review. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
