Charles Fischer Administrator No. 1 Share Posted October 26 The final score was 38-9, and PittDuck predicted 38-10 for only one total point off! That is pretty darn good, and the closest we've had in a while. Way to go PittDuck! Two others were right there only being two total points off in Fitnessczar (39-7) and ArkieDuck (37-10) which is also incredibly close. Thanks to all who played, and congrats again to PittDuck! Nearly Halloween? We have our own Galloping Ghost! 1 3 1 Mr. FishDuck
PittDuck No. 2 Share Posted October 27 Thank you Charles, and thanks for letting us play! It is another of the many things that makes this site great! Yahoo! That’s one a year for the last two years! I must be on a roll! I would have rather watched a 28 point second half, but deep down I was hoping DL would play deeper into the bench in the second half, to preserve the 38! Go Ducks! 1 1
David Marsh No. 3 Share Posted October 27 I really want to see us break 40 points consistently this season. We've only done it once. Oh well...maybe against Michigan.

Oh well...maybe against Michigan. Agreed, and I admittedly got frustrated late in the 3rd Q with our offensive play calling, and even substitutions. However, then I remembered that, calendar wise, we are likely not even halfway through what could/should be a very long season. Not only do we need to preserve our studs as much as possible, but what a luxury it is for us to be able to get many other guys some significant PT. It's also a luxury not to have to open up our entire playbook this early as well. And to get out studs some break time just before we head to Michigan is huge. Finally, I remembered that we no longer live in a CFB world that requires asinine 'style points.' So, 38-9 is more than enough. As hard as it is for me to admit, I'm coming to realize that Lanning & Co might just know a little bit more about this coaching stuff than I do... maybe.
