Let's discuss all the other CFB games of the day in this thread, and we do NOT discuss the Oregon game here, as we will have a separate GameDay thread for our game. (I will delete posts about the Oregon game, as we need to keep the discussions separate) 

 

Do provide score updates when you can, as well as your thoughts of what you saw in all the other games.  

 

We have a rich line-up of other games today such as Michigan at Indiana, Georgia at Ole Miss, Alabama at LSU and more to discuss!

 

 

I had ESPN on and it had Miami @ Georgia Tech, but no need to watch Miami games until the review at the end of the game, so it's Florida @ Texas on ABC. 

Texas gets 1 on th & 1 on their own 24, next play they get 44 yards. 

Touchdown, Texas, 7-0

Well, it's 14-0 Texas, so, over to ESPN, where Miami is ahead, 10-7. 

GT 14 U 10

GT stopped Miami on 4th down in FG position. They’re using a spy on Cam Ward and trying to keep the rush ends from getting upfield on him. So far, their DB’s are doing a good job in coverage and forcing Miami into long drives. However, Miami doesn’t really start playing until the 4th quarter.

Texas having its way with a mediocre at best Florida,35-0. Ohio State leads Purdue, 21-0 at the half. 

GT is teasing, just like Duke did last week.

 

I feel like the magic is about to run out for Miami.  Nothing would be sweeter than Miami getting beat by a 5-4 GT team.

 

I know, my bias is showing.

HORRIBLE play calling for Miami on 4th and 1.  Turnover on downs.

I will say this for Mario. He is deviating from his trends. Meaning, he is trying play-action passes in short yardage situations. I’m impressed.

Yeah, I am not doing a happy dance.  Seen this movie a few too many times this year.

 

Miami Touchdown, 21 - 16 GT after a failed 2pt conversion try by Miami.

Touchdown, Miami, GT still leads, 21-16 as 2 point try goes wonky. 

The West Virginia/ Cincinnati game has NO bearing on Top-25 or playoffs, but it is a very entertaining game.

 

Hard tackling, big plays, decent defense.  These players don't seem to care what their records are, they are flat out playing!!

Two personal fouls on Miami's D on the same play. Don't see that every day. 

Vicious, dangerous hit from a Miami defender on a GT running back.  Miami player ejected for targeting.

Please GT, for the love. Please make this happen. Miami has already deserved a loss twice.

 

I want angry Mari Cristbal in the post game press conference . . . PLEASE!!!

That RB is lucky to have teeth left as his helmet was coming off when he was crushed.

12 point lead for GT.  Miami is gonna need two possessions and GT has been masterful at controlling clock.

Announcers with a definite Miami lean. 

Interesting in the Texas game.  Texas DOMINATED Florida and got out to a 40 something -0 lead.  

 

Florida playing with some pride has cut it to 49-17.

I have a gut feeling that Ward has a pick-six brewing up inside himself.

Ward sacked inside the ten... GT D is fired up!

Pressure starting to affect Miami.  Dropped passes, sacks, they feeling it.

I think the Miami WR got broken on that reception...

Terrible.  Need to bring pressure on that 4th down. Can’t just let Ward pick you apart. 

Why do I feel like the final is going to be 29-28?

This may be only the second GT game I've ever watched and I have never been a bigger fan than right now!!

Oh man!!!!  They needed that first down!!  Keep it rolling!!

Just go for it.  Dont give the ball back to Ward.
