NJDuck Moderator No. 1 Share Posted December 6 Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks are preparing to take on Penn State in the Big Ten Championship Game. This is a notable accomplishment for the Ducks, who have made the championship game in their first season as a member of the B1G. As a result, the Big Ten Network’s Jake Butt thinks Lanning is the “face” of college football. “We don’t talk that much about Oregon considering how good they’ve been this year,” said Butt. “Oregon is the new team here in the conference and Dan Lanning has kicked down the door and done it his way.” Dan Lanning is the new face of college football, says Big Ten analyst SATURDAYTRADITION.COM Dan Lanning has cemented his place at the top of the best coaches list. 1 1

Dan Lanning is the new face of college football, says Big Ten analyst SATURDAYTRADITION.COM They just don't like the fact that our 'Team Out West' has, so far, dominated their conference. But I'm confident that they will get used to it. And just wait until our men's basketball team really starts to gel. 1
Duckman60 No. 4 Share Posted December 6 Oh how lucky we have been! I cannot remember what message board, but there was a lot of negative talk when we hired Dana Altman. People moaned about not being able to get a big name to come here coach the BB team. So we get a guy from Creighton! Well I believe that turned out pretty good. Then we get some assistant coach for the football team. Why cant we get a big name; Brian Kelly, one of the Stoops or an Urban Meyer. Well maybe we should stick with nobodies! Sandy Rocks No. 6 Share Posted December 6 Altman, Graves and Lanning are all good coaches. They aren't flashy but they fit into Oregon's system and have consistently done well. I believed that the team with Sabrina was going to win the championship and this football team also. Both teams have what it takes. This year's basketball team also looks really good. All of these teams had experienced, composed and talented players who want to improve their skills and contribute to the team. I love how Altman's team has come back several times and won. He has been building towards this team but his teams have been plagued with injuries. Hopefully with the depth this year, they will avoid that. Graves' team is also starting to improve. I love watching all these teams. The future is bright. I've Just Gotta Wear ! 1

DanLduck No. 8 Share Posted December 7 We don't get talked about much cuz we are the new kids doing what no one else has done...beat the bluebloods. And in year 1!!!! They are all so jealous. I don't blame them. We have the best coach. The best facilities. One of the best boosters in all of CFB in uncle Phil. A very supportive fan base, top NIL collective. The best support staff in all areas. And the best track & field facility in all the USA. Add to that top 5 recruiting classes, Oregon is now so successful that top teams are worried about being stepped over (and on!) Just keep winning coach.
