I just got my latest Sports illustrated in the mail and on the cover was Patrick Mahomes?! How many weeks at number one have the Ducks been and not even a mention or a story Inside, let alone the cover?

Maybe I am one of the last few guys that likes to read a printed copy of something including a newspaper. Anybody else feel the same?

At least they are still putting out the swimsuit issue  😉

Like every other print media legacy product, they've had their struggles with staying relevant in the digital age.

I wouldn't say they are irrelevant, but they don't stand out anymore than anyone else.

Nope, the only paper print I read are my AARP mags.

Wife like people but I don't know 90% of the "new" people in there and don't care about the other 10%.

That really is a statement. Mahomes sells!! If Dillon Gabriel was on the cover, not many would give it a thought, nuch less buy the magazine. It's just another note that as dominant OBD has been this season, and I definitely take the glass half full on this, it's not news that Oregon won again.

The Ducks have been on the cover though.

I haven’t picked up a playboy, time, or SI for years and don’t plan on it anytime soon.

If the curse of the SI cover is still legit, Then the KC Chiefs will not win the Super Bowl.

If it's not on the table in the dentist waiting room I probably will never see it

I had no idea that the Sports Illustrated magazine was still in production.  I had not seen one or heard anyone mention it in years.  I figured it was toast like a lot of other stuff in print.  If it is not digital, I don't read it.

I guess I'm surprised it still publishes.   Still weekly?

I would offer that most of the writing that matches the quality of SI from 20 years ago can now be found at The Athletic pay site.

If you are not familiar with The Athletic, I would suggest you try a trial subscription.
