No.10 Oregon Beats Stanford 76-61

Recommended Posts

Now 11-1 with a ton of praise from the B1G Analysts at their HQ in Indy.

They are already talking about a massive game Jan. 5th versus Maryland....a new conference, baby!

Unfortunate timing for this Neutral Site game, they're calling it the San Jose Tip-Off

Big Ten Network will air the game at 5 p.m. PT.

Neutral site... right. It's about a 20 minute drive from Palo Alto.

Go #10 ranked Ducks! Should be a good game against 9-2 Tree.

I just thought I would give all you football junkies an update on your duck bb team. The score is 36-19. Finished the half with a 9-0 run. Stanford has 26% scoring. Their defense is awesome. This team is jelling and truly looks like the number ten team. So exciting.

Dana, in his post-game interview, was pleased with the defense and ball movement at times.

He did not say directly that this team has a ton of upside, but it showed up in his, "well, this is December" kind of remarks.

They looked really good, and it's still so early in the season. They are beginning to gel.

That's pretty much gushing for Altman. It's good when MacLean does Duck games, he's very enthusiastic about their chances this season. Stanford was 9-2 going into this one. More balanced scoring for the Ducks. Kwame Evans, back from the knee scare led scoring with 13, Shelstad had 10. Supreme Cook had 8, including two back to back dunks with either hand.

You can tell Altman thinks this team could be pretty special, we just beat a decent 9-2 Stanford team on the road while shooting only 6-22 from 3.

Going to be a really telling stretch when at the start of the new year, Illinois, Maryland, and an Ohio St. team that just demolished Kentucky.  Hopefully the football team wins and the fans come back fired up for the two games at home.

The B Ball team demanding attention before Valentine’s Day. I like it.

Oregon held Stanford close to 30 percent shooting most of the night to win a nonconference matchup Saturday.

These Ducks are going to make this an exciting season.

10-1 with 3 impressive wins over Top-20 programs. Currently ranked #8 in the power rankings.

GO DUCKS!

I don't like him as he wants to lecture instead of telling you who the foul was on.
