Chas Man No. 3 Share Posted Saturday at 04:26 PM Geez, leave it to Travis Hunter to do what the defenders could not: Put DM on the ground. Thankfully, he was uninjured, but come on man!

Thankfully, he was uninjured, but come on man! Agree 100% The height of stupidity by Hunter as it was unexpected by Moore and he could have been injured. Character counts and having a Heisman doesn't bestow it automatically. Anyone else pulling that stunt would be spending the night in a Honolulu lock up.

Solar No. 6 Share Posted Saturday at 05:12 PM Ok, I wasn't blown away by his kick return in the all-american game, but this was extraordinary, showing every skill a receiver needs at 10 out of 10. He will be special, and should be in the starting rotation from the jump.
EastBayDuckDad Moderator No. 7 Share Posted Saturday at 05:54 PM Looking at the video of the Moore/Hunter takedown I was perhaps overly critical by citing a character issue. I can still argue that Hunter was dumb and didn't belong on the field. Nothing malign though as he lost his footing on a chest bump that nearly injured them both.
Fitnessczar No. 8 Share Posted Saturday at 06:23 PM Okay, Travis Hunter suffered a lacerated liver from a late hit. He missed multiple games because of it. The person who caused his injury, a lacerated liver, was receiving DEATH THREATS from Colorado fans. Probably all adults. What did Travis do? Ignore the situation? Pour gasoline on the fire by commenting on his injury? Nope he took the dude bowling. Posted it on social media and told folks to leave the guy alone. Now if that does not show exemplary character I don't know what does. I prefer to actually look at what they do off the field. 1 2
