Charles Fischer Administrator No. 2 Share Posted February 4 Very, very cool. Goes to show how the staff identified his full upside, and got the job done in recruiting. I am behind the news cycle, but over on On3 was quite a bit about how Zac Stascausky jumped up massively in final rankings of 2025, to not only be one of the best tackles in the class, but the No. 45 player among all positions. He was a 3-Star originally, and the staff worked hard to turn him from Washington, and then he jumped to a Rivals 4-Star as the season progressed, and now he lauded as a very athletic offensive tackle. This staff sees upside before many others do! The sign of a respected program. I won't discount that, but Zac really exploded his senior year. He went from "upside" to the No. 45 player in the entire class, and from the status of Oregon's "final" O-line recruit added to the 2025 class, to now the headliner offensive lineman. “Zac Stascausky is one of the biggest senior risers in the 2025 cycle and certainly along the offensive line. We thought he made a considerable jump in his senior film. I think for starters Stascausky has just fantastic movement skills. He has excellent lateral agility and really mirrors pass rushers effortlessly in his pass set. I think when we look at Zac Stascausky we really project him as a high-level pass protector in college. Among the offensive line group that Oregon signed, in our opinion projects as the most likely to be the left tackle of the future for the Ducks. I think there’s just so much value in what he brings. Just from a movement, skills perspective and with what he can do in pass protection. Also just the nastiness he plays with, the physicality in the run game, it all projects really well. We were able to finally get verified size and length on him and he checks out." 1 Mr. FishDuck
