"Right decision not for young quarterback"

Hard for me to get excited about any recruits until they show up on our doorstep ready to play.

I'm not really surprised given OBD's hard chasing of Jared Curtis. I hope that recruitment pays off!

How much longer will 4's & 5's want to go to USC?

I do not see a season in the Dan Lanning future that the Ducks have to worry about having a top tier two deep at QB.

This QB flip was predicted. He had comp at Oregon but Husan Longstreet flipped from A+M is a 5* true frosh matriculating in 2025.

SC with the theft of a GM from Notre Dame, more emphasis on NIL and ramped up recruiting appears to be getting its Sierra together.

As long as Riley is coach at USC, I'm not too concerned, for some reason or other

Williams will be comfortable in college with 6-6, 7-5 seasons, 8-4 if the Trojans really get it together

Until they fix and are able to enforce any sort of commitment at all, there is no such thing.

Especially with the Portal. Players are Free Agents, I'm sure there is some bonding, but the name on the front of the jersey has never meant less.

The NCAA is a complete joke. They want to enforce certain rules and claim it's for the "student athletes" when it's really just about keeping a cushy job for themselves. Either commit to revenue sharing or don't. You can't let football programs like Oregon or Ohio State operate with a hundred million dollar revenue gain but then have the entire Athletic Department be thirty million in the red because there are too many non revenue generating projects. College used to be the final stage for a young adult to launch into being successful and productive members of society. But when administrators can't even balance a checkbook to save their lives but insist it's the right thing.

It doesn't make any cents.

Yawn.

This is one position where I am NOT in favor of developing them through trial-and-losses.  Sure, build depth in case of injury, but if a great portal QB who is experienced is available....grab him.

As talented as Dante Moore is, (or purported at this time, since we have no proof) would we have gone 13-0 until the Playoff?  No, as there were plays that only an experienced QB makes and knows.  As far as I'm concerned, we have a pretty deep QB room right now, and I'm fine with this loss.

Now if it was an offensive lineman...that would be different.
