It doesn't matter how many wins we have or they have...beating the Huskies in any sport is sweet. Go Ducks!

The Huskies are so bad, they have no chance at making the B1G Tournament, so that takes some of the bite away, the crowd will bark a bit, but hopefully the Ducks will start fast and remember that they "own this place!"

36-33 Oregon at halftime. With absolutely nothing to play for, except beating Oregon, Washington looks like they want this one more than Oregon does. Bittle, with 21, is 2 points away from his career high.

TJ = Turnover Jinxed. 5 turnovers and there is still plenty of time to get more. But, he is 3 for 9 on his shot attempts and O for 4 outside the arc. The man is a tour de force today!

Oh, and he also has more fouls than anyone on the team. Jeez.

Wow, is Nate Bittle one of the best big men in the country? 36 points, 3 of 4 from beyond the arc, 7 of 8 from the free throw line, 12 rebounds. It's tournament time! AND, he may be back next year for a curtain call.

For a lot of the game, Bittle had more points than the rest of the team combined. Eventually, the rest of the team, not Shelstad, 4, caught up, finished with 44 to go along with Bittle's 36.  Evans missed two free throws at the end of regulation but finished with 11 points to go along with 11 rebounds.

The Huskies just weren't good enough to take this one. But this needs to be a wake up call for the Ducks. Indiana, in the first game of the B1G is the most important game for the Ducks this season.

7 wins in a row vs the puppies!

Ducks finish the regular season above. 500 in Big Ten standings in all 3 major sports:  football, men's basketball, and women's basketball.

Of the four programs from the West which joined the Big Ten, Oregon is the only one above .500 in all 3.

3-0 Oregon, 2-1 UCLA, 1-2 USC, 0-3 puppies

Not only that, but 7 in a row overall. In the B1G that ties the Ducks with No.1 Seed, Michigan State. in the AP. Houston, 10, Louisville has 9. Duke, Clemson, BYU, 8.

For a team that wanted so badly to leave the PAC, USC has done terrible this year. This was not one of Oregon's best games. Except for Bittle, who was awesome, everyone else was so so but like they have done repeatedly, they know how to pour it on at the end. How many games have they won in the last three minutes.I have lost count. Being able to win like that will really be to their advantage from now on.

This team has a tremendous upside. The announcers said when Bamba fouled out that the ducks were going to have trouble replacing him but Tracy came in and made several defensive plays and one awesome basket in OT. We are now seeing all the role players elevate their game and Bittle is playing at a very high level. This team has so much potential, who knows what will happen. It's going to be exciting to watch.

You could see the lack of a third scorer in this game, Shelstad had one of his games where he just doesn't show any desire to score at all and was very passive, partially due to Bittle being a such a beast and UW did a good job limiting his easy looks.

Classic trap game, I wasn't surprised to see the Ducks struggle in this one, it's survive and advance at this point, nothing else matters now.

I think a bigger advantage would be to play as hard as they do the last 3 minutes for the prior 37.  The loss to UCLA in the last second should have told them it's risky.

It wasn't surprising at all. Basically, a home game for Indiana, Thursday morning, which isn't necessarily a bad thing this season. Advancing farther would be helped immensely with a W over Indiana.
