Posted January 6, 20214 yr Administrator There are eleven other conference members that may disagree with this, but we hold the conference championship trophy! (TWICE!) Some have suggested that Jon Wilner should now eat his hat.... Mr. FishDuck
January 6, 20214 yr I saw some Huskies in the Twitter feed declare themselves number one and should be pac-12 champions by default.

Since it was announced that Oregon would play in the championship game, Wilner, and Andrew Nemec, made it their responsibility to make sure that everybody knew Oregon didn't deserve to be there. After they won? Didn't hear much about Oregon being the second team to repeat as Pac-12 champions since Stanford did it in 2012, 13. No team has appeared in the championship game 3 years in a row.
January 7, 20214 yr Right now I do think Oregon threepeats next year. The biggest thing this current team needs is experience and they got some. They still have a lot to work on ... But that all starts with experience. You know ball security is going to be the first, second, and third top priority issues this off season.

Still, no one, but NO ONE is remembering that UW was supposed to WIN the North by traveling to Autzen... the game that would decide the North representative to the PAC 12 Championship game. UW didn't make that road trip because of COVID problems. In my mind (though not the rules that the PAC decided on), UW forfeited that game and therefore the Ducks had every right to go. How can anyone say that the Huskies would have definitely won that game, 1) when they had not won a single road game all season, and 2) when the Ducks played as well as they did the next week in the championship game?????? IMNSHO the Ducks would have beat WA and then USC before going to Arizona to get humiliated.

With another game under their belt maybe they would have sorted out some of the problems that plagued them in the fiesta bowl. The thing is the Oregon humiliation came out of season long problems. Probably wouldn't have helped but game expirence is so important.
