30Duck Author Moderator No. 2 Share Posted Sunday at 04:54 PM So far, Duck turnovers are keeping Duke in the game, led by former Tarheel, Deja Kelly & Duke fan growing up, Peyton Scott, playing in front of her usual Duke fan grampa, now wearing Oregon green, the Ducks have led for the whole game. 28-23 at halftime. The Ducks are shooting 50% from the floor, Duke is at 36%. 8 TO's for the Ducks, 5 for Duke,

The Kamikaze Kid Moderator No. 6 Share Posted Sunday at 06:44 PM Glad to see the ladies fight back and make it a game at the end. I think next year will paint the picture of where the team is heading. If it's another middle of the pack season, that's probably where they'll stay. If they rise to the top three or four in the BIG, they should stay there as well.

Kelly Graves surprised me this year, and but question is...can he ever return Oregon to glory? My gut is saying no. He had a super special team that was robbed of a shot at the national championship due to covid. But since then he has brought in some of the best recruits in Oregon history and has failed to develop them. This year showed a good step in the right direction but the problem is that he had so many years of failing to develop talent that it's going to be difficult to rebuild some of that reputation. Could he do it? Yes... If given enough time. But will there be the patience for him to get there?
30Duck Author Moderator No. 8 Share Posted Sunday at 07:46 PM Brutal start to the 2nd half, 18-1 Duke run, from up 28-23, to down, 41-29. But Oregon made it a game, even after losing Peyton Scott, Deja Kelly was the only scoring threat for the Lady Ducks. Kyei played hard, but doesn't have the all around talent, experience, to be a real threat. Graves was kidding when he answered, "What makes you a great coach?" and he pointed to the court, where Sabrina and Ruthy and Satou...and the others from that great run were playing. He was kidding, but maybe there's some truth to it.
