Mediation for exit/poaching fees just failed yesterday afternoon. Some of their diehards are taking this as a power play, but I don’t think this is remotely a positive and could very much be an increased threat to the conference's viability.

Good, what the 2pac did to MW was a lot more shameful than what we ever did to the Pac-12. They deserve to be penalized.

Except in actuality that is because we did nothing to the Pac 12 except elevate the have nots that were left behind.

That's certainly a holistic way of looking at it. We did in fact leave them with hundreds of millions that they didn't deserve! Now they will have to cough up a chunk of that for repaying MWC's favor with their shameful act.
