Here are the results of the games each team played.

Oregon 56 at Rutgers 10

Iowa 38 at Rutgers 28

at Oregon 20 Indiana 30

at Iowa 15 Indiana 20

at Oregon 21 Wisconsin 7

Iowa 37 at Wisconsin 0

Oregon 30 at Penn St. 24 (2OT)

at Iowa 25 Penn St. 24

The Ducks scored 127 points for an average of 31.3 per game

The Ducks gave up 71 points for an average of 17.3 per game

The Hawkeyes scored 115 points for an average of 28.3 per game

The Hawkeyes gave up 72 points for an average of 18 per game

With both schools having a bye week, I expect a low scoring 'barn burner' unfolding in Iowa City.

Great breakdown. I just checked the BIG standings and it is spilt evenly between 3 distinct brackets.

Top Six: tOSU, Indy, OBD, Iowa, UM, USC

Mid Six:: Min, Neb, NW, UW, UCLA, Ill

Bottom Six: Mary, Rut, PSU, MSU, Pur, Wisky

OBD's results

Top Six: 0-1

Mid Six: 1-0

Bottom Six: 3-0

Remaining Games

Top Six: 2 Iowa, USC

Mid Six: 2 Min, UW

Bottom Six: None

Of OBD's four wins, three are against the bottom six. The schedule really ramps up for the final four games.

Not really a trend but a tendency: Oregon playing better on the road than at home. Against Iowa that may become a trend.

Offense needs to get established early with the ground game behind Davison so the RPO and passing opens later on. Defense needs to shore up run D by bringing Theinemen or Flowers/Johnson down into the box to help with spotty play by the LBs.

The current Oregon by -2 sounds about right.

In Kinnock Stadium, Kirk Ferentz has won .687 of Iowa's home games.

Iowa gutted Minnesota and is showing signs of life on offense behind run-first QB Gronowski, not to be confused with The Gronk or the Big Leboski, and a very good O-line. Iowa DC Phil Parker is a Broyles Award winner and one of the best in the business.

Coming off a bye, Ferentz is slightly over .500. Ditto for Dan Lanning, who at one point was 5-1 coming off a bye.

Ferentz has the most overall wins in the history of the conference. Against Big Ten opponents, Ferentz is 131-89. The 89 losses are the most conference losses by a Big Ten coach.

Id have fuskies in top six. And, that game it could determine a whole lot..
