The Aztecs have a good basketball pedigree, and this should be another good game.

They got destroyed by a very good Michigan team, it's a team we should beat, and really need to beat, hopefully Shelstad and Bittle have better games, and we value the basketball better.

4 turnovers to start the game out of I think 6 or 7 possessions, that is unacceptable.

Edit: 5 turnovers I'm ripping out my hair.

Gross!🤮. So careless with the ball.

Down by 10, we look putrid, no offensive flow, we don't look like we know what we're doing, been saved by Shelstad going 4-4 from 3.

This team is in desperate need of a dynamic offensive wing who is between 6-5 and 6-7.  Someone who can go get a bucket.

A little defense would be good. SDSU shooting 70% from the floor

Down by 10, 51-41.

Ugly, bad defense, Shelstad has had a good shooting night but he's given it back on defense as he is not big enough to get around on screens and the Aztecs have abused him there, Auburn did the same thing last night.

Not a lot of IQ on this team, they don't know have any feel on offense. They've actually had a good shooting night, but as always too many turnovers. We have very little depth as we don't have any guards that are of any worth on the bench. Stewart is alright as a backup big.

This is not a great SDSU team, this isn't the type of team they've had in the past, they're 2-2, and they look vastly better than us right now.

We can certainly come back, but Altman has so much to work on with this group.

Dana is going to smash some heads. This is as bad as I have seen a Dana team play on the defensive side of the ball.

SDSU lost to Troy and got throttled by 40 against Michigan. Not a good sign.

I hate to say it, but I think he has nobody but himself to blame, he didn't recruit the right players, they just aren't very good.

He's done a horrible job getting them ready. I think he struck out on a number of his targets and panicked when he got Lin, Demir, and the other player from Turkey.

He must have struck out on a number of freshman since we don't have a single one that is playing.

Oregon looks like a team roster a new coach would inherit after the prior one was fired. This performance is just ugly in many different ways. It is going to be a long Big Ten season. That game against Gonzaga on Dec. 21 is just not going to be pretty.

If the team doesn't improve massively this is Altman's worst team since his first season. I don't see them as a top half team in the league.

I doubt they get close to a tourney bid, they'll have no good non-conference wins as they will get blow out by Gonzaga if they play even close to what they have shown in the last two games.

The thing that I'm most frustrated by is the lack of basketball IQ, they don't look like they know how to play team basketball, they don't look like they know what the scheme is offensively or defensively, that's on the coaches, both in identifying talent and in coaching the team to be ready at the start of the season.
