The school's plans include a new state-of-the-art 170,000 square foot indoor facility located west of Autzen and the relocation of both outdoor fields. The school has targeted 2029 for the completion of the entire project, but the outdoor fields will be completed before then. Here's a Look From Above of the Progress of Oregon's Practice Facility Upgrades

Good Job!Having drone photos would be nice if you have time to do it to track the progress. Hopefully the 2 outdoor practice fields can be finished as soon as possible.By the way the photos are from Duck Territory. I didn't take them. That would be hard for me to do from Arizona. See the article on my post.

This thing must be an engineering marvel.
15 hours ago15 hr No. Was at the dog park on Monday. Construction has slowed WAY down. Here's a pic of the Ferry Street bridge from Skinner's Butte, during the 1890 flood. The north entrance under water. Autzen would be built, much later.
5 hours ago5 hr No. Safety rules and all of that. However, the Empire State building was completed in just under 14 months. March 17, 1930 - April 11, 1931. Things can be built much faster, but all the safety inspections required slows things way down. Unfortunately, University of Oregon can't have city, state and federal inspectors onsite 24/7. It is hurry up and build, then wait for inspectors. Hurry up and build, then wait for inspectors.
1 hour ago1 hr Moderator No. How about a new regulation that inspectors who fail to be on site within 24 hours of the completed work are to be used as tackling dummies on the opening day of fall practice? Might hurry things up.
