Posted November 16, 20213 yr As opposed to my "only the good" I am posting "what to fix" or for the millennial, "Areas of improvement:" 1) Hold the edge on D. Too many plays where they gave up the edge and contain. I think ALOT could be attributed to holds that were never called, but geez. 2) #19 Hill gets beat too often deep down field and loses coverage 3) Difficulty covering backs out of the backfield 4) Temper, temper - too much jawing after the play 5) many others I won't list as they've been season long but are improving (clock management, pass play calling, QB play) What say you?

You know what to do, do it. You have practiced it many times, play like you know it. You know what the right thing to do is, make the right choice.
November 16, 20213 yr Keep your heads in the game. Focus better on third down both offense and defense. Tackle better, don’t jump on the ball carriers back and ride him for another 8 yards. dbs turn and look for the ball when the receiver does, don’t start grabbing. just 3 of my pet peavs. There are many more, most are stated above, and I have plenty of gray hairs that I didn’t have in September because of it.
November 16, 20213 yr Play a complete game like tOSU. Don't shoot ourselves in the foot with mistakes. I don't believe we can play a 'perfect' game. That's not possible. Just have fun, play hard and win. GO DUCKS
November 16, 20213 yr Moderator The refs down on The Farm. Otherwise, with 1L courtesy of the zebras, what needs to be fixed? Of course it might be nice to have fewer guys and at least 1 coach, outside of the medical tent? Edited November 16, 20213 yr by Jon Joseph
