The Alliance sticks together and the 5 P5 champs are in. The SEC and G5 are not going to walk away from the extra playoff money over this issue.

What a load of malarkey from Sankey. Upsets by underdogs in championship games is exactly the kind of dynamism that is needed in college football. 

 

In no other sport that I know of (high school, college or pros) are decisions about who makes the playoffs based on the teams that a board thought were the best. No, it is decided by records over the course of a given season within a league/division.
