Very encouraging to see.   Was worried that he might follow MC...

 

One of the reason's Utah was so strong was the adversity it went through. The deaths were tragic, but the team was bonded from the experience. Another big item was the qb issue.

 

The team pick the back-up qb as their captain, the coaches picked the starter instead to try and lead the team. The coaches plan failed and the players choice ended up leading this team to become a very good team, they deserved to win. 

 

Oregon is in a tough situation. It bodes well for our future to see this young man step up and get behind the program which will be here for a very long time. Many things will change, but it is nice to see this student athlete have the fortitude to make the solid choice. Hopefully a strong group will rally around him. 

 

This will give the new coach something to build off. I look forward to seeing this happen as the new Oregon Football Program rises up!
