30Duck No. 1 Share Posted December 25, 2021 So far, not only has Oregon not collapsed with the departure of the guy from Miami, new Coach, Dan Lanning, has moved forward, namely reconnecting with Cyrus Moss, and in this story from Ducks Wire, Zachary Neel, a top QB, has Oregon in his list. In truth Riley didn't bring too much beef to Oklahoma. 0-4 in the playoff because they weren't able to beat the heavy hitting SEC linemen. He got bigger linemen than Oregon of old had but wasn't built to really compete with the top tier programs. Also... Riley is keeping the same problem Helton had with recruiting ... When Carroll was at SC he put a lot of guys into the NFL and many were O and D line guys. In the last 5 drafts when it comes to O and D line guys the Pac-12 is only ahead of the ACC.
