The playoffs should expand to 8 or 16, not 12. 

Don't really want expansion if it helps the SEC

The Playoff Committee today again rejected expansion.

If I could pick, I would go with a 12 team playoff.  Top 4 seeds get a bye week while 5-12 play a home game at the higher seeded teams venue.  Then home games for seeds 1-4 against the winners of the 5-12 games.  After that, bowls like the current setup.
