To beat out Dontae' Williams and Alex Grinch for a key defensive player?  Pretty darn good!

Lanning making that call to him is impressive. Florence has a pretty cool memory to share with others for a lifetime.  Lanning put in a solid effort and brought a top notch player to Eugene. Great story.
