Duck1984 No. 3 Share Posted February 3, 2022 (edited) Quality matters more than quantity? Hmmm. What does it look like when the two measures are factored? 1. Stanford (4x1=4) 2. Oregon (2x3=6) 3. USC (1x10=10) 4. Arizona (6x2=12) 5. Utah (5x4=20) 6. UCLA (3x7=21) 7. OSU (8x6=48) 8. Colorado (10x5 =50) 9. Cal (7x8=56) 10. UW (9x11=99) 11. WSU (9x12=108) 12. ASU (11x12=132) Looks like we beat the Huskies and Trojans overall, but lose to the darn Trees again. Edited February 3, 2022 by Duck1984

The Kamikaze Kid Moderator No. 5 Share Posted February 3, 2022 I’d rather have a small quality class this year then let this grade a recruiting team go pedal to the metal next year.

Also, I would like to see something similar to this based off of the transfer players. I wonder where each team would sit. USC prolly wouldn't change spots. Duck 1972 No. 7 Share Posted February 3, 2022 I believe it's hard to rank transfers. Do you use their HS * or ??? And how would that work?
Jon Joseph Moderator No. 8 Share Posted February 3, 2022 Great post, thank you. Shows the quality over the quantity.

I believe it is 247 Sports that has such a ranking? Jon Wilner reported last week that the combined recruit/portal ranking would have SC's class, after signing Caleb Williams, at No. 9 in the nation. Do you know if Oregon has any more scholarships open for guys from the portal? Can go to 92 this year if guys have portaled out. Lots of guys in the portal and after spring ball you can bet there will be a lot more.
