Just further evidence that while Coach Mario could amass talent, he completely under utilized it.  What a waste...

IMO....that is what Lanning thinks. One of the reasons he went after an experienced QB with some very good stats his last year. 

So, if MC had utilized the talent at his disposal, he would still be our coach, I look forward to better team management than when MC was here.  Thank You Dan Lanning for taking the leadership role at Oregon and giving us some hope of team development and trusting your choices.

With a passing game in '21 the only things the Ducks would have needed was a couple of press lock-down corners and some interior D Linemen.

 

Well, and a game worthy HC, a productive OC, and a top DC. 

 

Come to think about it, despite the wins, the Ducks still needed a lot more both off and on the field.
