    Love to see any help headed to Chargers.  If anything, Gerald is consistent, which is the good and bad here as you know what you are getting.

    Consistent 3 catches and 30 yards per game. 1 TD every 7 games.

     

    I would not call that game changing.

    I am not clear on his blocking ability, but given Pete Carroll got rid of him after one year suggests the answer.  Pete loves his TEs.

    I would assume their coach Brandon Staley is. He was defensive coordinator for the Rams before the Chargers hired him as their head coach.
