Charles Fischer Administrator No. 1 Share Posted April 12, 2022 For more information about the stat he is referring to...the "Havoc Rate" see this article on FishDuck. (Created by you-know-who) Dan Lanning: "If you're good enough, you're old enough." - Footballscoop FOOTBALLSCOOP.COM Lanning talks about "havoc rate" for his defense and why time spent on campus won't be a defining factor in their playing time. 3 Mr. FishDuck
Haywarduck Moderator No. 2 Share Posted April 13, 2022 Another thing I think he is speaking to is if you don't have the right attitude you can be replaced. Coach Lanning wants his attitude on the field and just because you were a starter or are talented doesn't mean you will play. Which players can adhere to what Coach Lanning wants to see in his players, freshman or seniors. It might be harder for a senior to adjust to?
ICamel No. 3 Share Posted April 13, 2022 I liked this quote! "It doesn't matter. We're going to find a way to use good players. So if we have enough good players that can play and contribute, then they will play. If we don't, then we'll play the ones that are." "That's at every position, not just the defensive line."
Duck 1972 No. 4 Share Posted April 13, 2022 Again I believe this shows his base philosophy of it's what you do that matters, nothing else.
